Clinton WAS impeached. Impeachment simply means trial. No one loses benefits for a trial.
Skeptic, check your facts before putting someone down. I know you could check the wikipedia, which seems to be the bible of Q&A.
Clinton left office in 2001 because he had already served the two terms allowed by the Constitution.

Former President Clinton was never impeached.
(Having sex while in the White House with a woman other than ones wife, was never an impeachable offense)
I think that there were reasons that charges were brought
up against him, but the reasons were not fully disclosed
to the public. The trial would have outlasted his time in office,
therefore he could not be formally impeached regardless. (Some of the charges stemmed from 1991 when he was Governor.) Basic reasons for the charges of impeachment usually stem from a violation of the public trust, security issues, or not upholding the oath of office taken while being sworn president. (All presidents must uphold the constitution,
and the bill of rights.) If an offense is against the people is
proved, impeachment occurs. President Andrew Johnson was impeached in 1868. Former President Richard Nixon
resigned after hearing talk of, and seeing media reports that
an impeachment trial might be underway. He swore until his death, that comments heard on tapes had been misconstrued, and that he was innocent of any wrong doing while in the White House. (Nicki: Henry Hyde was just doing his job, without malice, in the best interest of the United States.)

Clinton was never impeached.
Although he did claim that:
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."
He was never impeached:
"With the necessary two-thirds majority not having been achieved, the President was thus acquitted on both charges and would serve out the remainder of his term of office lasting through January 20, 2001."
Check out your facts before asking a question assuming facts that are incorrect. (By the way, he did balance the budget despite all of the irrelevant political noise.)

He was not impeached only by the Republican sinner Henry Hyde that as old as he was , ever could get in to the Senate. Bill Clinton was impeached by the House only , he was not impeached by the Senate which is the part of Congress that counts. He never left office, if you bunch of Republicans can't bring his name up constantly you couldn't survive. Take a good look at that Little Bantam Rooster and Al Capone that you put in there, take good look at them and dream.URP
You Republican are so jealous of Bill Clinton that you must dream about him at night, I'll admit a 91 IQ against a 182 IQ is something that tells me you have a retard in office and my brilliant scholar genius minded Bill Clinton would make any Republican get their knickers in a knot. Yes he got full benefits , he has secret service still with him, he got it all , why because he deserved it all, that is why.
