No, in fact we've been getting some of the same posts. My own bet? I think we have a Middle-Eastern troll trying to upset both sides who really doesn't understand our relationship very well. There may be some in each country who would do that anyway, for some of the same reasons (break up a friendship that's a lot deeper than people realize).

Give that individual what for. Keep most Americans out of it.

I'll be encouraging the same thing here.

Good luck to you. Contact me at will. I'll visit the site and keep my eye out.

A patriotic American who loves Australian and British patriots (for their own country, of course)!

Edit: Got some great posts regarding this issue from another question. People either don't care if some idiot is insulting ("it's the web, there's always jerks full of themselves") or they are aware of the "anti-all sides" pretenders who are trying to upset the allies on all sides with posts that pretend to be one ally or the other. Good to know most of us are so sensible! As I said, most people aren't stupid enough to fall for such nonsense.

I´m neither American nor British, but I think these 'bashers' have a point. 'Americans are a bit stupid for electing the madman Bush TWICE!'
Just listen to Bush. He has the unique 'ability' of making the most logical sentence sound utterly idiotic.
Take Fox News (the most popular 'News Channel' in the USA.) What infantile drivel they 'report'!
The majority of Americans MUST be stupid to put up with this.

Hi, Ray. Sorry I deleted one of my answers the other day. I had my reasons, no fault of yours (or mine). Anyway, to answer the present question: the British, especially the English, often go out of their way to be obnoxious. But you certainly don't "need help" in responding to them. Your prose style amounts to a martial art. You're able to hit all the right nerves, very quickly and very hard. Your opponents end up looking ridiculous.
By the way, isn't it a pity that such "friends" are an ocean away? I wish it were two oceans.

Certainly your not suggesting that some wackos on yahoo
represent the British population...Fair enough insult them back, but don't go out of you way to start a war, because we need each other !
