I have heard him repeatedly say his main job is to protect the american people. However, when he took office, he swore an oath to Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States. So which one is his job? Personally speaking, I'd much rather have him protect the constitution....

To see that the laws are faithfully executed.

That's why it's called the Executive branch.

That is a hard question, considering that the current president is doing neither. Based on the current administration, I'd have to say that it's a tie between lying, cheating, spying illegally, starting wars based on lies, and helping out his buddies to the detriment of the rest of the world.
