Why is it that no one remembers this...

This is the very thing that made me lose all respect for him as a president. Husbands and Wives, sons and daughters were being killed by the masses and he actually found this funny.

How does it make you feel?

Pro-Amnesty Activists Have A Direct Line To OUR Senators!

For those of you having difficulty getting through to your Senator over the current illegal alien amnesty bill, here is an 800 number paid for by pro-amnesty activists:

1-800-882-2005

This will get you directly to your senator unlike the numbers available to the average US Citizen.

Press 1 when you hear a Spanish message, then Press 1 again to be transferred to your senior senator's office.

OR

Press 2 when you hear a Spanish message, and you'll be transferred to your junior senator's office.

You get through immediately and the call is paid for by Amnesty proponents.

No wonder they aren't listening to us--they only take calls from THIS line. How soon will they change that number when WE THE PEOPLE start using it as well?

Why are there no organized demonstrations like there were in the 60's and 70's concerning the Vietnam war? I support our troops but just don't understand why the American public doesn't speak up when they have strong opinions about the war and the government.

How is an American able to identify whether or not he/she is living in a Fascist country, if he/she is uneducated about the signs of Fascism?

No Child left behind is a perfect example of indoctrination. If this is not the case, then why does the military have instant access to each student's file information due to the No Child Left Behind Bill? The military automatically gets access to any child's file with or without a parent's permission, which they also don't have to notify the parent.

Military brownie points when applying for any state or government job is a perfect example of military being treated as elite. Automatically, the former military person will have an employment advantage over an equally qualified job applicant, which it doesn't matter what position the person is applying for because it is an instant five brownie points. This would make sense only if the ex-military person were applying for a job such as a security guard or prison guard, but this is not the case.

I've emailed it to my senators and the White House. I think it is so relevant to the upcoming immigration vote. After all, aren't we the UNITED STATES? It's beginning to feel a bit like 500 nations crammed into our borders......

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

With the vast majority of the US population against President Bush, how does he continue his leadership of our country? A democratic government is suppose to elect leaders that are representative of their population, in this case, Bush. The polls show his approval rating below 30% and the support for the Iraq war also well below 40%. What is happening to our country, key word OUR, in the sense that we sit back and let our representatives act against our intentions and beliefs.
