more countries have developed nuclear capabilities....aimed at who? the US? aka North Korea, China, now Iran is steadily working to develop them, Where is the UN's security??

Aren't the two great things that separate the United States from Europe: first, that the founding fathers didn't want us to have a king and second, that they wanted us to have freedom from religion? That's what makes our country special! Our leaders aren't born into the presidency and we are free from god! I mean honestly if you really have to have a king and a god why don''t you go to England where the king is the "defender of the faith." Sickening if you ask me!

Now here is the problem...If we have freedom from religion why is it that the president worships in the national cathedral, swears his oath on the bible, and worse of all congress opens with a prayer? Isn't the president supposed to set an example? Am I missing anything here?

Since time immemorial, we humans have "supported" the people we care about by trying to make sure they are safe and comfortable and surrounded by people who love them.

That's why "supporting the troops" can never mean "supporting whatever Bush says", especially when he won't consult anyone else and is determined to keep up the pointless bloodbath that is Iraq.

everyday I hear some liberal talking about banning talk radio or fox news or reporting some post on yahoo because it has a conservative slant..............what is it with liberals and their opposition to the views of most folk?

Recently he's been saying we're making progress with the troop surge but I just heard it on the radio that we lost over 100 U.S. troops already this month??!! Isn't that more than the average lost of troops before the troop surge? So how is that we're winning the war according to Bush and Cheney? Is losing more troops a sign we're winning?? I'm confused :(

With all should know how in debt the US is with other countries, Europe, Venezuela, China, and with their own citizens. A lot of money is being spent in the war? Does a loss mean fall of the American Empire.

England went the same way, Rome did, etc..

What is your opinion? Is this a death of life situation for the US?

How would this country be able to pay such a big debts to those other countries, which by the way are no so friendly with the US?
