Our India is largest democratic country.Unfortunately we could not say any indian politician as the best leader.Most probably until 1967 iIndian national congress was the ruling party in centre and almost in all the state. Our late prime minister Jawaharlal nehru was the the only leader who was accepted allthe people of india as the best leader.After his death no one can come to his position becuase the the Indian national congress has lost its glory becuase of some of its narrow minded politicians and regional parties such as D.M.K. in tamil nadu,Telugu desam in andhra pradesh,;etc;grown up well.In the present sitiuation we can not any one as the best leader of the country India.But we can say one regional party leader who is playing a very good role in all indian politics and almost can be called the king maker of present India,and contributing his best service to the Indian democracy by deicating his unbreakable service as member of the tamuilnadu legislative assembly for last five decades Dr.Kalaigner M.Karunanithi is the best Indian leader.Though he is the leader of the regional party D.M.K. he proved his patriotism in several occasions and broadminded politics can be elevate him as national leader.

Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader of India, and of the world. If he was a leader of the superpowers, imagine how peaceful the world will be right now.
I admire him so much and I am not even Indian.
