check this out: National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive was signed buy George W. Bush on May 9th didn't even bother to go to Congress or make a press, the media didn't know about it either, this makes him extremely powerful in case of a "catastrophic emergency" makes him a "dictator" because by this the President alone can make all decisions even stop the elections and bypassing the Congress I smell civil war what about you?

the CIA is there to disrupt governements and set up regimes worldwide. The taliban is one such monster they created. They fail miserably. The war cartel is an insatiable monster comprised of industrial elite families that have held the worlds assets for centuries. War means profit to them as our nation pays out! $80,000- per person is now owed to scam banks financing our "debt" for sham causes and wars. Anyone disputing this give me facts not Fox news or Rush limbaugh sound bites about the left...check out "the Money Masters" you may be forced to "grow up."

I'm in Canada right now and last night a group came into the bar I was having a beer in to celibrate a same sex engagement. Aparently the couple is getting married in Aug. It was strange because I had no intrest in leaving my wife and having sex with men. I thought it might be me so I asked around and not only did none of the straight guys I asked want to leave their wives or girlfriends...they didn't seem to have a problem with the gay guys getting hitched. I was told that same sex marriage was a threat to all marriage...it just seems not to be true. I just thought that was odd. Have all the anti gay marriage people just been lying?

We are certain that there is not a weapons program there, Saddam is out of power and dead and there is a democratically elected governemnt there, with a constitution. Weren't those the reasons for the war?
What more can we realistically hope to accomplish? And how?

They got it totally backwards. The founding fathers wanted the government to fear the people not the other way around. We the people need to constantly question the government and the President.

Elizabeth is unpatriotic. Like anyone here who ALWAYS ALWAYS defend Bush no matter what is unpatriotic. Why don't you leave this country? This is not a good home for you.

why is it , that liberals are a threat to liberty (s) and the country as a whole!
they are usually peace loving , undertsanding ,tollerant ,eduated ,they are more for family values and programs to help poor families then any one else I know!
when your job gets exported(liberals didnt do that, your party did) and you are sitting high and dry , aren't you glad there are some social programs to help you out in that crucial time of need?????and trust me "no child left behind isn't it"! (not a liberal idea)

what are they a threat of exactly???????? I would love to learn what it is that liberals are doing wrong!!!!!!!!!

Since all Supreme Court judges (Judicial Branch) are lawyers, most congressmen (Legislative Branch) are lawyers, and many presidential candidates and others in the Executive Branch of government are lawyers;
we have lawyers making the laws, lawyers enforcing the laws and lawyers judging the law.
Where is the "separation of powers"
Should we restrict lawyers from running for office??

Do you really? Or are you just repeating what you've been told to believe?

Those "low unemployment rate" figures you're so proud of are not, in reality, factually representative of the actual numbers of people in America without jobs. Did you know that?

Are you currenlty up-to-date on the history-making catastrophe occurring in the Housing market? In bankruptcies in this country? In stagnant wages? In the record-shattering numbers of Americans now classified as "POVERTY LEVEL" income?

The economy is in a SHAMBLES.

Everyone seems to have an opinion about the way the country should be run. At the same rate, everyone is quick to point to their political figures and say they are the ones to blame for all the turmoil. There are thousands of issues to deal with on a daily basis, but the most popular seem to be War, Immigration, and Social Security Reform. Although more than the majority are not satisfied with his decisions, President Bush has done what he has seen fit best for the country.

I have read through political rants about Democrats this, Republicans that and how the town stinks of Liberals. I am just curious, if placed in the hot seat with only seconds to make a decision, what would you do if you were the leader of the United States of America? Would your decisions be based on popularity or political influence?

Shouldn't every person who is able to work be working, doing something, instead of getting a check in the mail every month from the U.S. Government for doing nothing?

Since 1964, when "the Great Society" federal welfare programs were established by president Lyndon Johnson, the U.S. Government has distributed over $10 Trillion dollars to welfare recipients. Even with all of that money being paid out, we have more people on welfare than ever. Isn't this whole program a complete failure and shouldn't it be scrapped?

Why are those who study the video tapes of 'planes' on 9/11 in Manhattan virtually ALL saying they are fake ? And those who do not study them (i.e. the media corporations who first broadcast them) say they are genuine. Time for the facts of these dodgy planes to be more widely known. Some of them are so blatantly faked that their wings look like they were bought in Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Do people REALLY want the facts or just official whitewash ?

Not even Bush believes in them enough to close the borders. It has been almost 6 years since 9-11 and the borders are wide open. All terrorists need to do is come in through MExico as mentioned by the US government itself which talks a lot about it when it comes to giving contracts to their buddies to spend US taxes on this war and not a cent to actually secure America in reality.

In California the powerful Health Care Professionals Association (nurses) has endorsed a socialized medicine package making its way through our left minded legislation and probably to be vetoed by Arnold. They oppose Arnold's demand that State Universities and Colleges increase their programs to produce more health care professionals. People want jobs, these jobs pay good, and the schools that educate people to be nurses and health care workers are flooded and booked up. Their wages go up, up and up. A good solution is to increase the supply of these working professionals. Why should we let them stop us from increasing their numbers?
