check this out: National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive was signed buy George W. Bush on May 9th didn't even bother to go to Congress or make a press, the media didn't know about it either, this makes him extremely powerful in case of a "catastrophic emergency" makes him a "dictator" because by this the President alone can make all decisions even stop the elections and bypassing the Congress I smell civil war what about you?

haha silly people, the media wasn't aware at the time he signed it and he didn't even bother to give a press release explaining the benefits, he bypassed Congress when he should have asked for their council, something worst will unfold..

No more than any other high-ranking politician. (Incidentally, I'd be more inclined to accuse Nancy Pelosi of power hunger than George Bush, but that's beside the point.) You can't take one item from a person's record and say "LOOK! HE'S A DICTATOR! GOD HELP US!" You must look at everything on his record and analyze him that way. (Hence my comment about the Damascus Diva.) In addition, the reason it's a "Presidential Order" is that the President has the power to make certain things law without Congress's approval if it is vital to the security of the country. The media probably didn't know because they were so busy fixating over the immigration thing, and entirely missed it.
And the only way we'll have a civil war now is if we descend so deeply into partisan politics that we lose sight of what needs to be done. As long as we're talking about wars, I've noticed things seem to be going pretty well during this one: no major attacks by our enemies on our home soil, a booming economy that for the first time in American warfaring history is not supported by the war effort, and fewer casualties and MIAs than any other war. You want chaos, bloodbaths, and all the other things the media are calling Iraq even though it isn't? That's what another civil war will do to this country -- and recovery, if even possible, wouldn't be nearly so easy this time.

OH GOD YES!!! I think Bush has an unholy fixation on war...and the middle east (family trait)
I suppose his lust for war and death is from his Satanic past while he was at University ( yes..we all believe that he is a zelous christian lol. )
I smell civil war, but not because of Bush and not any time soon.
American national identity is very strong, its practicly encoded into children from birth. So no. i dont think many americans would like to have their own state.
But eventually...

That is only the tip of the iceberg. He has passed so many things your head will spin. What about making Mexico,U.S. and Canada all one country. Yep , hes trying to do it. That is why this immigration bull is exactly that, bull.He is very power hungry, like Gods gift to all us stupid idiots. I think I need a new President.

For one thing, our Government was not formed to bail out every Dick & Harry with handouts. The opportunities are out there, especially now days to better yourself. You can do that or you can just sit and ***** about everything. Maybe you need to run for office and make a change? But let me know first as I sure wouldn't want to vote for someone with a attitude like yours!!

He will do that around the end of July, in August or possibly September. It is the only way he is going to be able to stay in Iraq and attack Iran too. Nostradamas predicted that the Anti-Christ would show himself in the 7th month of his 7th year in office. I wonder if old Nostradamas got one right.

So, the media doesn't know about it, Congress doesn't know about it, but you do?
This isn't Egypt or Saudi Arabia.
You are ridiculous.
