There have been numerous revolutions in World History to overthrow a country, when people are not happy with the government. Would something like this work in the US or France or wherever because I think people do not have enough balls and militarys are too strong.

As we foreign nationals understand, thousands of US key mid level serving US military personnel are leaving the US military!

The Domocrats serving notice in-concert with the opinion of the US people to end / withdraw from Iraq. The Republicans hell bent on its continuation irrespective of how many more thousands (as in Veitnam) US military and its allies soldiers are to fall and pay the price.

President Bush, totally beleiving he is not accountable to congress, the opinion and will of the American Nation or to anyone - imposes his Veto!

One man, dictating to 260 million Americans!!

President Bush, Sir, U R worth no more than the despotic Muslim Clerics who dictate, rule and enforce their eveil code on the the very nature that the western civilized world seeks to depose!

Am I wrong - have I misunderstood what U R committing America and its peoples too!

Be gone - President Bush - U R totally out of step, unaware of the nations view of this conflict.

The US president is not isolated in her/his religious commitment. So, a true religious individual WILL further his/her religious beliefs in office. So, what would be best for america? You cannot avoid this question no matter how much you play down its significants.

If in the unlikely chance the House and Senate do not pass bills that the President won't veto, what will happen. The president can't take the money and although I think there will be a comprimise what if the Dems refuse to bend?
If there is no money will the troops have to come home anyway? Will they be stuck there with no funding?

I really don't want the typical ignorant answer of "Stupid Democrats" or "Stupid Bush" although I know I will get a few. I'm really curious, hypothetically speaking, what would happen?

We all know that going into Iraq was partly to control the world's oil sources. But nothing has been said regarding the revenues of the Iraqi oil fields. It was said in the beginning that the oil revenues would pay for the war and the rebuilding of Iraq. But this has obviously been another LIE!! Where is all the money going and how is it being divided. I have the suspicion that our multi-national oil companies are all reaping the benefits.!!! They all are Bushies!!

We've all seen the news, congress approves a bill with a timetable included, Bush vetoes it. Bush wants an open-ended cash flow, and congress wants an idea of when this will all come to a close. If congress is so determined why don't they just start cutting funding for the war? What will this all result in?
(Serious answers please)

Even though he disagrees with establishing a date for withdrawl, isn't he cutting the legs out from under our troops while ignoring the will of the majority? If the U.S. is a true republic, isn't he morally obligated to go along with the majority in congress?

Borrowing money enables the government to spend more in the present without having to make up the differance until years later. Why do you think that for many years poloticians found it easier to borrow money than to cut the deficit?

So many people want to see a change in course in the war, because clearly the current course is not working. However, Bush's stubborness and obsession to achieve a successful mission is putting the lives of thousands of American soldiers at risk. I think that this behavior is a good enough reason to consider taking away the president's ability to veto a bill. I think it is pretty obvious that the officials in favor of this latest bill are much more intelligent in this matter and it is time that Bush start taking other people's advice into consideration.
