i really think that the days of pride in work at the post office ended about 30 years ago--and they were in serious erosion at that time--after my uncle retired. He followed my grandfather and great-grandfather in working for the postal service. My grandfather worked for the Post office for 35 years, my great-grandfather was a postmaster, and my uncle worked his entire career with the post office.

I would try the usps office in Washington DC to register legitimate complaints.

I really don't know how far it will go now....civil service and unionism have really degraded the quality of service. You would think that the competition would make them change, and improve, but it has not done so.

You should contact the Postmaster of that postal branch. Go to www.usps.com and check out the Find A Location section. Plug in the zip code info and find the proper branch. The phone number listed there is the general 1-800 number, so you will want to click on "more information". This page should give you the local number for that branch. This is the number you should call, and ask for the Postmaster.

Sorry but I believe that supervisor is the one you need to talk to or try going to another post office(one that isn't slow) and asking them. You can also do your mail business while your there and might kill 2 birds with one stone

LOL./ The guy is Civil Service.

He reminds me of of a guy in the local post office. He had 3 speeds.
Slow, slower and dead stop.
Watching him work was like watching a car rust.
