In California the powerful Health Care Professionals Association (nurses) has endorsed a socialized medicine package making its way through our left minded legislation and probably to be vetoed by Arnold. They oppose Arnold's demand that State Universities and Colleges increase their programs to produce more health care professionals. People want jobs, these jobs pay good, and the schools that educate people to be nurses and health care workers are flooded and booked up. Their wages go up, up and up. A good solution is to increase the supply of these working professionals. Why should we let them stop us from increasing their numbers?

Are you kidding? Working 18 hour shifts at a wack - and that is a "short shift"?

When you "increase programs", you push through people. Pushing through people means passing some that maybe shouldn't pass. What does that do? Brings down the quality of nursing in general, and in turn the reputation of the nurses in general.

I would welcome more nurses! It would definitely make my life much easier! I mean, family time is important to me.
