Fred Thompson. He's articulate, and he "looks" like a president, no small consideration in this shallow commercial culture we have now. Perhaps most importantly, he's a southerner. Most of our presidents have been southerners, from Washington and Jefferson, to Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. Even "W" is from Texas, a southern state as well as a western one. Just look at how well old Fred is doing in the polls when he hasn't even announced yet! Go Fred!

HIllary Clinton. The American public is fed up with Bush and the Republicans so that means a democrat is going into office (most likely) and she's the best candidate either side could have.
