The reality is the girl was just the icing, when he came t the bank he brought in a bunch of his hench men/women and ran rough shod over the place.

The guy is super smart but is the worlds worst manager so of course bush makes him a manager in both the pentagon and the bank. If he goes private and you own stock in that company sell and short it.

You always come up with awful description of problems with this administration. Wolfowitz tried to get help with this situation BEFORE he gave her the promotion. He went to the ethics committee asking for guidance on whether or not this was a conflict of interest. They said no. It was a trap....big surprise. The only way libs can achieve their goals of tearing down our country.

Geez! Wolfowitz is just another overpaid Bush bureaucrat who got caught with his pants unzipped. It's funny how Republicans spent hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer money to impeach Clinton of something similar.
When will American voters wake up and DEMAND that our government act fiscally, morally and socially proper at ALL times - not just after they get caught??
Nepotism and favoritism have no place in hiring people in responsible positions of government, nor does politics have a place in firing government employees who do a good job but don't support the right political party.
Just because every incoming administration 'owes' a lot of favors doesn't mean Americans must tolerate less-than-qualified stellar candidates for any position within the framework of government. They are, after all, supposed to be PUBLIC SERVANTS. That means their pay should be considerably less than they would earn in the private sector AND they should be proud to SERVE because of their dedication, loyalty and patriotic devotion to their country.....kind of like the soldiers they send to 'war' who are willing to accept low pay, miserable working conditions and even the threat of death because they are proud to SERVE their country. -RKO- 05/28/07
