more countries have developed nuclear capabilities....aimed at who? the US? aka North Korea, China, now Iran is steadily working to develop them, Where is the UN's security??

I'm not worried about a government launching a missile. A government's jopb is to remain in power no matter what. Why would Iran launch a missile at the US when we would obliterate them in return? The real threat are people like al qaeda who are more or less individuals rather than governments.

Not really. The cold war between the U.S. and Russia went on for 50 years and nothing happened. You have to understand that there are no winners in the next war, only losers. There are many things you are not aware of that will never defeat the U.S. even if the whole country was devasted. It's a safety valve.

The UN wouldn't do us much good anyway.
I'm aware that Iran and North Korea have been firing missiles and working on the rest of their little scheme.. Certainly doesn't make me feel that great.
