Why is it that no one remembers this...

This is the very thing that made me lose all respect for him as a president. Husbands and Wives, sons and daughters were being killed by the masses and he actually found this funny.

How does it make you feel?

I never said I was against the war because he didn't find WMD's. All I said was the fact that one of the reasons was to find them and for him to make fun of himself for trying to look for them is frustrating. I think even he is unsure why he's there. The reason he may not pull out is because he feels if he starts a war, it can't end all in his presidency. But off subject completely.

I am merely asking how people feel if they have lost friends and family in the war only to see him making fun of it?

People tend to answer before reading sometimes...

His tasteless jokes are a direct slap across America's military face.

Just think of all the young Americans that came home in body bags because he insisted that Iraq was stockpiling these weapons of mass destruction.

I think it was a tongue in cheek slap in the face to the liberals. You see, even CNN reported all those 55 gallons drums of chemicals and shells sitting there to be filled with the chemicals.

Later, it was said that the chemicals were for control insects, but I have never heard of delivering it with 105mm shell. We also heard from some of the scientists that were in Iraq and many have said, except for plutonium, they had all the stuff to make a bomb, one of them had it buried in his yard until about 6 months before Desert Storm 2. He said it went to Syria.

So, while the media denies WMD, all the facts show that they were there, there were parts, when put together make WMD's, and the Kurds know first hand from the chemical attacks Saddam killed many of them with.

Denial is what allowed Hitler to get a good start on 6 million Jews, 4 million Christians, and about 2 million Russians in his extermination chambers.

Tatsteless indeed !

However, If you truly (deep down in your heart believe that Sadaam Hussein did not posess chemical or biological weapons you need to check yourself. No we didnt find them, but he had them...he hid them, moved them burried them somthing but he damned well had them. He used them quite effectively in the past.

It's so easy for people to say " I'm against the war because we didnt find WMD's"! Well I dont think people really believe that when they say it. The truth is that they dont have the stomach or the spine to stand up against REAL evil. A little intellectual honesty would go along way IMO.

So save the no WMD rant it's a sad and vapid argument!

If he had half as much integrity as he has audacity, we would likely be in much, much better shape as a nation.

Bush makes me feel the same today as he did the day he took office - slightly nauseous.
