How is an American able to identify whether or not he/she is living in a Fascist country, if he/she is uneducated about the signs of Fascism?
No Child left behind is a perfect example of indoctrination. If this is not the case, then why does the military have instant access to each student's file information due to the No Child Left Behind Bill? The military automatically gets access to any child's file with or without a parent's permission, which they also don't have to notify the parent.
Military brownie points when applying for any state or government job is a perfect example of military being treated as elite. Automatically, the former military person will have an employment advantage over an equally qualified job applicant, which it doesn't matter what position the person is applying for because it is an instant five brownie points. This would make sense only if the ex-military person were applying for a job such as a security guard or prison guard, but this is not the case.

Corporations are obviously influencing our government, which is a sign of corporatism aka Fascism.
Can you say that you are one hundred percent, without a doubt, sure that we are no where near Fascism? If you not sure, then how do you know you aren't currently living in a Fascist country or if Fascism is bad? If you are sure, explain why the above are not signs of Fascism and why Fascism is bad.

"You have one example that's not even all that convincing and THAT'S supposed to be definitive proof that the United States is "half-fascist"? I don't even know what that means or if it's possible. You're going to need something more impressive than No Child Left Behind."
theorange, do you even have any clue as to what domino effect the No Child Left Behind Bill causes? It guarantees no child is left behind, education-wise in elementary or high school.
Do you know why some people are mad about not being approved for a student loan? No, because you would know what I'm talking about.
No additional fundings have been added when making way for the No Child Left Behind bill. How can someone get a student loan if there aren't any funds? What is the point in No Child Left Behind if the child isn't able to go to college. Mostly, the No Child Left Behind bill has made it more difficult for the lower class to be able to go to college.

theorange, if you are so sure of yourself then why hasn't the education system recieved additional funding when making room for No Child Left behind, and why is the military allowed access to any enrolled child's record without parental consent? What would be the purpose of making it very difficult for people to go to college, besides indoctrination and prepping children for the military once they get out of high school?
