India's Commerce Ministry had Advisory Committees (Export-Import) in East, West, South and North Zones. The idea of zonal committees can be found in sports too. Cricket is a good example.

Can the U.S. Federal Government force a State or City Government to pay for something in a congressional bill? I am writing a bill and its to creating foreign exchange programs for high school students and for it to be funded, I want the federal gov. to fund 50%, state 30%, and city 20%. However, I was told there is a separation of powers between the governments and this might not be able to be done. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I see that all the time.

Have you people forgotten 9-11? Or are you blaming Clinton for that one too?

Only twice has the US been hit by major "surprise" attacks. Pearl Harbor and NYC/Washington DC. I'm sure FDR wasn't proud that Pearl happened, and heads rolled over it. But his supporters didn't pretend that it never happened!

BTW, how many "heads" have rolled over 9-11? I can't think of one. If you know one, please list it.

It seems like they have us in a noose with all the goods so cheap through the exploitation of the labor of their people, that
its just not feasible for the average American to "only buy American" and still remain financially intact. If the US is in debt to the tune of 17 trillion (accdng to CNN) then it just seems like a matter of time until we are under their economic control. Whats the answer?

We have a president who says he doesn’t give a damn, and a Congress that doesn’t seem to have heard us either.

The Anti-war Movement will end the Iraq war without them.

Just like we did during Vietnam.

I mean, it is ruining our liberty, its caused illegal, pointless wars, it has caused laws to be passed that invade our privacy, it gets many many more people killed than it saves, and i am convinced that 9/11 was a covert government operation, so that the policy of preemptive wars can be put into permanent policy, and gives the government an excuse to violate our civil liberties and construct a police state where everyone is tracked and spyed on!

This may be a very Naive question, but, why does the Palestinian Authority need the money of the West? Cant they act like a normal government and tax their people? My country isn't funded by foreign governments, so why should my tax dollars I pay to my country go to a foreign country for operational costs?
