They don't want to be reminded that we have enemies that wish to do us harm. They would rather pretend their protest is about "imperialism" or "non-violence".
Yea...send them over to the Mid East and see if they can solve things with "non-violence". The terrorists would gleefully behead the twerps.

Because the company that was doing renovation to that area of the Pentagon and on the WTC at the same time fixed it.

I am not sure but I did notice that the protestors were very quiet when one speaker spoke about the horrible way the Bush administration had treated undocumented immigrants. The speaker ranted about how a baby was torn from her mother's breast and had to be taken to the emergency room. The crowd was very quiet.

Because the Pentagon is not in DC . So if the protestors were in DC, why would they look at the pentagon at all.

Assuming you are correct, probably because people have been arrested for doing nothing other than staring at govt buildings.
