This is the first Presidential election that I have been following closely. However, I am still not quite sure what happens at a Caucus, such as the Iowa Cuacus that is coming up this week. I am curious to know what exactly happens at a Cuacus and how is it relevent to the Presidential election? Thank you very much!

My husband has a few days off from training and he's been able to call me fairly regularly. He says that he's heard a rumor that he might have orders for Korea. First I"m glad to hear that because being in Korea is a lot safer than Iraq or Afghanistan. The sad part is that after I see him on Leave he will leave me again and I won't see him for a long time (sniff sniff). I guess our little "teddy bear" (that's our son's nickname whose about to be born around the middle of January). He has his special name before his given name (lol lol) and my husband thinks calling him our little teddy bear is TOO CUTE! I even bought him some nice warm teddy bear pajamas to wear. Anyway back to reality. If he's sent to Korea I'll probably continue living withmy in laws. I'm really welcome at there house and my mom and dad are nearby too. Everyone is looking forward to the birth of our little one. Is there an Army post in the USA that specifically serves Korean based soldiers for family issues?

Seen this on a few answers here. If a foreigner is sentenced on the same day as me in court why would people think he shouldn't have to go to prison and I would? That wouldn't be fair to people from here who get sentenced.

57% of illegal immigrants in the United States are Mexican nationals, & 24% are from other Latin American countries. So that means 81% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. are Latin Americans. I'm speaking for myself here. I think he United States is superior to Mexico. I think America has better a human rights record, a better democracy, better values, more righteousness. I don't hate Mexicans or illegal immigrants. And I don't blame them for any of my porblems in life. But most illegal immigrants aren't assimialating into mainstream American society. There's a reason why Americans have to press 1 for Enlish.

I talked to an army recruiter the other day and I told him my situation basically I'll be graduating soon with a B.S in Econ, and early on in my life, I was charged with a felony dealing cocaine, that charged was dismissed and I plead to a possession which is now a misdemeanor. The told the army recruiter I was interested in OCS, and I was expected to be told that it wasn't possible since I had a misdemeanor, but he said he could "work with that" is he bulling me trying to get me in, if so why the hect is he trying to get me to come in and talk to him if he know I can't join?

About how many supporters did this woman really have? The press is presenting her like she held the majority, but as I understand she wasn't exactly too popular in her own country, given all those corruption charges and the fact they'd already given her two chances in power.

I mean, in a country of 164 million she'd have to have at least half that before even thinking about a government shift.

Recently; there has been some discussion over whether or not the Trinity United Church of Christ, which Obama has indicated that he is a member of, is actually a Black Seperatist or Black Supremacist Church ?? --Approximately two weeks ago; the website of the Trinity United Church of Christ had set forth their 10 " Commitments " exclusively to Black Culture, Black Community, Black Ministries, Black Families, Black Christian Experience, etc.----Today, I observed that, for reasons unknown to me, the Trinity United Church of Christ website has been changed considerably whereby the 10 " Commitments " have been changed to 10 " Points of Vision " & many of the previous all Black references have now been deleted & now replaced with less denominational " Points of vision " re: " adoration ", etc. or " Christian Experience " as opposed to " Black Christian Experience "? - Did anyone else notice this change ? Do you think this was an attempt ( sincere or otherwise ) to change their image ?

Tell me that this doesn't sound like the Conservative ideology.

-Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
- Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
- Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
- Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion.
-Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

Pakistan is a country whose democratic and civilized traditions are being gradually eroded by militarists and religious fundamentalists that will eventually destroy the country and endanger the whole world.

Rather than killing hundreds of thousands of people in Afghanistan and Iraq, shouldn't Clinton and Bush have withdrawn all support for the Musharraf dictatorship immediately, and instead focused on building stronger democratic institutions and real economic and social development?

As you know, you get an Honorable Discharge and your Enlistment papers in the same little binder when you reenlist. I've been told that once I got that first Honorable Discharge, I cannot get anything less than that no matter what I get chaptered for, unless it's something rediculously bad. I'm just trying to get out before my third deployment that I will be stop-lossed for, and I want to be able to get a good job when I get out. Help me out.

In the 2008 Prez primaries. I'm talking a serious test/quiz on the internet somewhere that'll let me know which party I am and which one to vote for. Candidates by issues would be cool.
