A lot of new recruits do get one of the 6 they choose. I did not though. I joined in 1992. I did get an overseas assignment to Panama of which I really wanted to do in going overseas. Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Unless you get it written in your contract it is a small chance because it will be needs of the Army and if they have your MOS at that post.
Once you get to where you are you can put in a 4187 and request a new duty station or call your branch manager.

its basically a wish list, if you have no duty station in your contract then your called uncommited, so you will be put in a duty station where the army needs you (needs of the army) the most, out of your three choices, or if there is another station that your needed more at you will end up there. it also kind of depends on your mos.

The chances are slim to nil, bro, unless you picked a rapid deploying post like Campbell, Bragg, or Hood. Ill put it to you this way, I requested Lee, Leonardwood, and Benning...I got Hood. If you dont get it in your contract, you're needs of the Army, my friend. It sucks, but that's how the Army works. Sorry.

What you put on your dream sheet has NOTHING to do with where you go. You might go to one but it wont be because of that stupid form. You will be assigned needs of the Army unless you enlist for or reup for a duty station.

Can't really say with what little info you gave. It depends on the locations, for example, Ft. Carson and Ft. Lewis are harder to get then Ft. Drum for example.

It depends on your MOS and how many of that MOS are needed at those locations and how many are needed elsewhere. For example, it is easier for Infantry to go to Ft. Lewis then to Ft. Leonard Wood.

A lot depends on your MOS. When my boyfriend was in, he got stuck somewhere totally not on his list because it was the only place they had an opening for his MOS.

Just about none unless you reenlist for one of them.
