are nothing but sexual objects.
Women are subjective to men in the west.
They like to fancy themselves as equal and even sit on their self stated pedestal of "equality"while they are nothing more than a pair of breasts used to sell beer as well as anything else.
look at hooters. lol
so guys can go and look at boobs while drinking beer.

So tell me whats worse.

We are beginning to renegotiate our contract and we need help with the language, and things that are appropriate to ask for. I would like to view some of the contracts, to see what other drivers are receiving by way of compensation, such as paid days off, and wages. Thanks for any help.
If this is inappropate, I'm sorry but some of the stewards just don't know what they are doing.
Merry Christmas everyone.

There are two reasons why I am asking this question.

One, I am hoping for a good President in China. An American of Chinese ancestry returning home and being welcomed and accepted as President and Emperor (not the same concept as European or Western emperors). By Chinese custom this is very good and accepted. An emperor in Chinese custom is merely a man, who holds a mandate to rule from God. He is looked to as a god, but he is not a god or dictator as you have in the West. An Emperor in China is effective, especially if he is a good, smart, and knowledgeable men. Benevolent rule and having a rigid stand on issues, as long as they are good, for China, is not bad. In China's history, there were good rulers and bad ones. A good one, the best ever, hopes for a return so he can bring a new age to China, which includes a democratic type of government and Christianity. Is this so wrong. When you grow up in the West, you tend to believe in these things. China's new leader will bring

My son has not been a perfect father. I admit that. He has two daughters and a son. All 3 kids have different moms. The mothers of all his children are difficult to deal with and keep him from seeing the kids. The mother of the son moved 1000 miles away and my son couldn't locate her to get a court order for visitation and she refused child support through the courts so he had no way of paying support to his son, either because he couldn't find them. His son was killed in an automobile accident last month and nobody notified us until the other night when he received a phone call from the funeral home asking for payment on the remaining 3k dollars owed for the child's funeral. My question is can legal action be taken against her for not notifying my son sooner and does my son have any legal responsibility to pay this bill to the funeral home? The child had a 5k life insurance policy that my son purchased for him when he was born.

My mother passed away 2 1/2 years ago and my aunt will not give us (me & my sisters) her remains. (She was cremated.) Is there anything we can do? She has also taken all of her personal belongings without giving us a chance to go threw anything. Recently she told someone they could throw away all of her "stuff".

As an employer, we have various people work overtime and take vacation in the same week. Not uncommon at all, really. Do their vacation hours allow them to be considered for overtime?

For example, Mon-Thur they work 35 hours. Then on Friday they take an 8 hour vaction day. Do they get 40 hrs regular time and 3 hours overtime?

We have an irregular schedule here and work 7-4 Mon-Thur and then work 7-1 on Friday (w/out Lunch). Our issue is that most people take vacation on Friday... and it's really only a six hour day. If people take vacation on a Friday, they end up having 34 hours plus 8 hours vacation. We all do it, so it's not really "over-time," but it's technically over 40 hrs.

What should I do as management? If you can, please back up your answers with some gov't information.

We live in an area where a babysitter is extremely hard to find. And so are jobs that have flexible hours. So we finally found one that can watch the kids, since we both work night shifts. Now this babysitter has been telling us she can't watch the kids as early as an hour before we have to go to work, at least once a week, and the other day she told us, "oh yeah my daughter had lice about two weeks ago so your kids might have it too."

If it comes down to it we might pursue pressing charges for lost wages. My argument is that she had a verbal agreement with us to watch the kids five days a week, and cancelling at such unreasonably short notice caused us to lose wages we could have worked, and because we're seen as "not as dependable" as other employees due to this, our reputations at work are damaged as well. Do we have a case?

If not, is there another course of action I could pursue? We're currently trying very hard to find another evening babysitter with no luck.

The Police put some "No Waiting" Cones on a local street 8 weeks ago. They were put there because of roadworks, which is fair enough. The roadworks were finished over 2 weeks ago but a local house owner has kept the cones outside his house to stop others parking there. Neighbours keep moving the cones out of the way on to the pavement but he moves them back. He has complained to the local PCSO who has also put them back but I don't think he has the power to do this.

My question is four fold;

1) Do the Police need specific reasons to place cones out? (I accept the roadworks reason is fine but can they remain there just to keep the local resident happy?)

2) How long is the cones / restriction valid for?

3) Who has the power to put them on the road?

4) Can anyone point me to the right legislation so I can research it a little.
