How does Bush and Cheney continue to get away with their blatant misbehavior both here and abroad?

Is this a nation of laws or isn't it?

I'm not a citizen but I have a green card in the united states. I commited a crime but I never was proven guilty. But someone said the law sent me a letter to me about the crime. I wasn't proven guilty and I left the country. that means I'm innocent? Can someone still come looking for me? or will they just wait for me to come back?

The Media Racing Form has Huckabee sprinting past Guliani and Romney around the second turn...does Ron Paul have the legs to finish in the money?

Will Ron Paul's common sense and integrity win out over the propaganda coming from the Corporate Media's horserace favorites?

"The latest National Intelligence Estimate has been greeted by a mixture of relief and alarm. As I have been saying all along, Iran indeed poses no quantifiable imminent nuclear threat to us or her neighbors. It is with much alarm, however, that we see the administration continue to ratchet up the war rhetoric as if nothing has changed.

Indeed nothing has changed from the administration's perspective, as they have had this latest intelligence report for some time. Only this week has it been made known to the public. They want it both ways with Iran. On the one hand, they discredit the report entirely, despite it being one of the most comprehensive intelligence reports on the subject..."

The pre-socialized health care bill to pay for kids up to age 24 (huh? Oh yes!) with parents making over $80,000/year was once again vetoed by George Bush.

What part of a child growing up and being able to drive at age 16... (Libs have in the past wanted to allow them the right to vote as in when they turn 16) But adults are deemed "an adult" when they reach the age of 18...

But with the vetoed bill... Stipulations identify people living with their parents and covered under the plan until they reach 24 years old...

Is really goofy.

So identifying that 24-yr-old children are not children which normally fall into the category as being under 16... Where 16-18 year olds are actually young adults (we call them teenagers) therefore not needing to milk off mommy and daddy's $80,000/year income status...

Why do people, generally liberals, find this hard to comprehend?

Bush is vetoing popular, bipartisan legislation.

Why should the Democrats bend for Bush's budget, where essential services for the AMERICAN people are cut in favor of war and corporations? Are they truly spineless?

I say if Bush won't compromise, then don't send him anything. Am I grossly wrong on this?

Heck, remember when the Republicans lost the majority a couple years ago? He DARED the democrats: if you don't support the war, you control the money.

That was a dare. Make the idiot eat his words. Yeah, I personally think Bush is the most incompetent president to ever be elected (twice). This is a true testament to failing schools if this is the best that American voters can come up with.

Shooting games these days often put the player in the shoes of the soldier in WW2, Vietnam, the Iraq War, and so on. Is it disrespectful to buy these games and play them. READ THIS PART PLEASE. I really want to buy some of these games because they are fun, but do not want to do wrong and disrespect those that have served their country in the most honorable way anyone can. What should I do? One such developer of video games has a military consultant on the game and helped aid in the process of making the video game. This military consulant, Capt. Dale Dye, actually served in Vietnam, received three purple hearts, survived 31 major combat operations, and received a bronze star for valor. Games that involve real wars that have happened may not be all that disrespectful to him. Do games involving fictional story lines, but that still involve the Marines and some what of a resemblence of current events such as Call of Duty 4; disrespectful?

If the Democrats go through on their proposed cuts for funding the war and 200,000 government and contract employees are laid off, what would be the outcome in terms of loss of votes.

Not only would it affect the 200,000, but if bases are forced to shutdown operations throught the world, millions of other jobs on the military bases would be affected.

How many of you think that the Democrats are willing to lose millions of votes?

What say you?
