Ron Paul had been getting a lot of support lately because of his excellent views on critical issues and good performance in debates.

I think Ron Paul is one of the best Republican candidates because of his moderate views and willingness to break with Conservative ranks for what he believes in. I don't think he will win the nomination however because he just doesn't have the conservative base behind him. I also don't think he would gain much help from independents because at this point people are wary of anyone with an (R) in front of their name. He is also a strong supporter of the "Fair Tax" which if it becomes a major issue will not have support among many in America.

I agree with you 98%. I don't like some of his economic ideas, but he's still a billions times better than the Candidates. GO Ron Paul!!
