I heard on the radio today that a 4th grade teacher in Sarasota Florida will celebrating Veterans Day Monday by honoring;

Conscientious Objectors.

When a set of parents, both Veterans objected to their son being taught this, the Principal said he could not interfere in what the teacher was teaching in her classroom. The parents requested that he be placed in a different 4th grade class for the day on Monday.

As a parent how would you have handled this situation?

He was born and raised in the US. He lost his ID. His birth certificate is an original, and has some immunization records on the back, so the state of colorado DMV will not accept it. He needs ID in NY to get a new copy of the birth cert, which he cannot get without the ID... Can anyone see the way out of this loop?

A relative passed away almost three years ago and left everything 50/50 to two people who aren't arguing about anything.
The attorney that was appointed to handle this by the relative before they passed refuses to finish taking care of things. Court deadlines have been missed. Nothing is settled.
What are our rights? - how can we make him get this done? Please help!

just curious if you are so in favor of capitalism that you really are a closet communist supporting communist china.

i mean either "you are with us or against us".

but we know, it's ok. The capitalist republicans are commies at heart.

We know that blacks are discriminated against(some times they make it up for sympathy but it does happen a lot)
We know that Mexicans are as well( even those here legally)

But how come no one ever discriminates against the Canadians or the Germans or the Swedish and many other races that also are not really from here?
They are not Americans either but they are accepted no matter what with no questions asked.
Why???

As an employer, I don't think I would have any problems hiring illegal immigrants over legal citizens due to the cost savings. My only reservation would be getting caught and punished by the government, but I think the chances of that are low. Would you have any moral dilemmas hiring an Illegal?

For the most part businesses could care less about Americas educational system .
Truth is politicians only tell you what you want to hear .
Truth is we are only months away from economic collapse and millions of Americans losing low paying retail jobs .
30 million government workers can not support the economy without the debt growing .

Truth is government and defense contractors have gotten out of control and have no place to get the money except hiring 30 million illegals at half the wages they would have to pay an American worker . Then increase every tax just a little so no one notices the inflation due to rising taxes .
Taxes at 40 cents per dollar on gasolene means that 50 dollar a barrel oil only makes 60 cents at $1.50 a gallon but brings in $1.20 at $3.00 dollars a gallon . So we have oil prices at $100.00 a barrel
This is how you lower the taxes on the rich and stick it to every working man in America . Tie taxes to items people can not live without .

I get really tired of all the crying & moaning from the Socialists in Canada and Europe do about the United States.

Without the United States and our Bad ASSSSS Military the world would look much different than it does today.

Why doesn't China invade Taiwan? What happened when Saddam Invaded Kuwait? Would the Nazi's still control Germany? Would North Korea invade South Korea? Where are the Soviets? What happened to the Taliban? Who just liberated 50 Million people in the Middle East?

Every Roag Nation in the world with bad intentions must ask "How will the United States React"?

Is this not a good thng?

I Just wish the Socialists in Europe and Canada would say Thank you!!!!!

I asked a perfectly legitimate question about why Republican make such a false issue out of abortion and gay marriage, which are never mentioned in the bible, yet so many conservatives scoff at placing helping the poor above greed as "socialist".

The question got removed because it talked openly about "moral" hypocrisy in the "party of values".

And Republicans couldnt answer up to it with insight and logic, so they filibustered with abuse complaints to Yahoo to try to shut me up.

Nothing illeagel or inappropriate, just clearly unnessessary for the child and expensive. Lets pretend it is a body lotion.

A minor comes in a store and buys a lotion that is $70. the child later comes back with parent and the parent has a fit with the store clerk because a no refund policy.

Whos right and whos wrong? the parent or the store clerk?
