Wow. Pride goes before the fall. We've been important in the past, but not that important. The world would be fine without us. Some, if not most, might even be better off. Geez. No wonder other countries call us arrogant! Have you even seen the news in the past few years? Most of what you cite is wishful thinking. The Taliban? They're back and now they have public support. The Russians were pretty insturmental in bringing down Germany in
WWII and would have formed other alliances of like minded nations. China and Taiwan? Who wants war in their country when the economy is expanding? It's bad for business, among other reasons having little or nothing to do with us. Yes, there would be agressions and wars, but they would also have their conclusions. Just look at the tensions created within the British Empire. Eventually, Britain finally gave up. It took a long time, but nobody wants prolonged conflict. How do you describe bad intentions? What's bad for one is another man's perfect answer.
Say "thank you?" You mean by bowing down and kissing our asses every time we want to wage a war, for any reason at all? You mean by sacrificing their young for a protracted war without justification? Again: Wow!

Right now I'd have to say that much of the world is in chaos because of the United States. You'll feel differently when we are bombed continuously. We won't be spared here in the next one. Think about it.

tell us about all this "crying & moaning"
I would like some links and sites
France and Britan have said "thank you" many times over the years for what we did during WWII
Kuwait is very happy that we helped them
And many-many other countries as well.
Around the world most people and countries loath bush
(same as 1/2 of this country)
- the Truth is, most would Love to move here - and you know thats a fact don't you ?!?
one last thing - The Brits were holding their own during WWII
They would have held without us.

PNAC- your one of those people who I think it's a shame couldn't be embedded with our troops in Iraq so you could observe first hand all the wonderful things we have done and are doing there. Yes we got rid of a dictator at the price of a whole lot of innocent peoples lives and created a fabulous training ground for terrorists who were never there in the first place. As for the rest of your Ques. think you could use some in depth history lesions, (yes we had to fight the Nazi's).

Nobody owes America a thank you.
Nobody has asked America to interfere, yet the insist.
Nobody has asked for the American way to be shoved down their throat, but it has.
America continues to oppresses its own people, deny them rights and send their jobs over seas in the name of capitalism. They have instigated almost every major battle in recent history. They continue to defy treaties, while expecting everybody else to play by the rules.
The world existed before the USA empire, and it will exist after the empire falls. There will be no difference.
By the way it is spelled rogue.

Pax Romana
Pax Brittannia
Pax Americana
Yes, the world would rapidly devolve into chaos without us. Yes, Labor Socialists, EuroCommies, and other weak chinned parasites owe us an enormous thank you, or they'd be speaking only German and Russian.
(BTW, "rogue" is spelled R-O-G-U-E. But then Hemingway and Churchill were bad spellers also.)
Addendum -
Who's the one advocating socialism? How's that brave experiment gone, historically? Not very well?
Socialist Economies are, history shows us, failing economies, that fail to deliver even basic goods and services to their citizens.
Instead of being all cool and hip and faux artsy-fartsy, why don't these socialists and labor democrats take a good, long look at history? Even Europe has abandoned socialism, collectivism, and other failed ideologies that trample the rights of the individual, stifle growth and progress, worsen poverty, and cause nothing but misery.
Addendum #2 - Lots of intelligent people are bad speelers!!

The lethal greed of American capitalism is an atrocity no conservative has the guts to actually face.
Money is their slave, master, and firing squad.
Mom-and-Pop businesses die so Wal-Mart can peddle its "made in china" junk.
Only in America can shipping jobs overseas and hating your fellow citizen in the name God be considered a "moral value".

The world is in utter chaos and the US is largely responsible. Actually Bush is responsible, not the mostly law abiding citizens of the US.
