I made a right turn at an intersection, about 20 feet infront of me was a car, the Light turned green, she moved up I followed. She stopped hard on the crosswalk. ( said she didnt haveroom to get across the intersection.)I stopped but my wheel locked up and I hydropaned into her bumber About the 20 feet) . Wasnt going very fast at all. No damage to her, it was a tap. She claimed a back, neck and head pain. She refused a ambulance. I called them anyway, she told them she was ok. Police took report, Said I was the less favorable in the accident since I hit her. Police left, ambulance left and she begin complaining again. Then she commented that she had prior lower back injury, so i asked her to write down what she mentioned about prior injury, she did and I had her sign it. So i have a statement from her that she is hurting but that she had a prior injury. i have full coverage insurance. How deep in the **** hole am I. ? How likely this will be a nightmare financially?

really - not to be a smarty-pants, but liberals are better comics. i know there are some conservative comics, but they just aren't funny. dennis miller used to be funny, now he just looks like an out-of-control post-rehab frat boy. and those guys were never really funny, even in college...

I am sick and tired of hearing how a student is in trouble for hugging other students. Or how about the coach that got fired for kneeling down during prayer with his team? It seems that everyone throws a fit about EVERYTHING if they don't like it. Why do people not believe in freedom anymore? Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to make our own choices. Cany anyone answer that for me?

Clinton sold out to China.

"Clinton Launches All-out Effort For China's Entry Into WTO" http://english.people.com.cn/english/200001/11/eng20000111W137.html

Clinton took money from China. Clinton also gave U.S. military secrets to China. That action put the U.S. at risk for a nuclear missile attack from China. Two foreigners pled guilty but for some reason they didn't go to jail. Also, China secretly helped fund Bill Clinton's legal defense. Democrat politicians don't want the public to know the real facts about the Clintons and China.

This is a few of some of the U.S. government's documents. I am sure Democrat politicians don't want you to see them.

yeah..I know I have heard this over and over again that just because the middle east is raging with warfare, and the threat of even more warfare is looming that none of this has contributed one iota the consistently high oil (And gasoline) prices we have seen.

So I would like for one of you people help me convince my neighbor that there is not speculation by oil brokers and traders that prematurely drive up prices in anticipation of possible shortages. In fact, I have even heard it call a "war premium" for the iraq war, and a"potential war escalation premium" for the possibility of war with Iran.

Ok, so none of this affects oil prices and has had had anything at all with us paying so much more for gasoline....right? My neighbor swears that war in an oil producing region either reduces supply of oil (Causing higher prices) or increases speculation of war wich increases the price of oil. Help me tell my neighbor he is mistaken.

An example of this was a protest that took place yesterday in my home town (Olympia, WA) where close to 200 activists protested the unloading of military cargo at the port.

Here's the link to the article covering it including a video clip: http://www.theolympian.com/570/story/264386.html

My question is that even though it's great to see a relatively large turnout for events such as this, what factors must come into play to engage Joe Lunchpale and Jane Soccermom instead of just those who are already involved?

A friend of mine from Hong Kong is making an application for permanent residence as a skilled worker (she completed her university studies here in Australia, and is currently on a bridging visa).

In order to have permanent residence granted she needs an "assurer of support" for the first two years. If she makes a claim from Centrelink (eg unemployment benefits) in the first 2 years, the assurer of support has to pay back any money she claims.

http://www.centrelink.gov.au/internet/internet.nsf/factors/a ssurance_support.htm

I was wondering if it would be possible to set up a bank account or similar which she could put the $25 000 in. That money would be held for the first 2 years of her permanent residence and then returned to her. The money could be accessed by the assurer, but only if required to pay back centrelink. The money in that account would serve as insurance for the assurer should she make a claim from Centrelink in the first two years.

Is this possible?
