It Was Great When I Called Them Back A Month Later And Asked The Branch Manager If I Could Deposit My $27.3 Million Lottery Winnings Check, And Then Took It To Another Bank.

I Haven't Laughed That Hard In Years.

This is a serious question. I'm going to vote against Howard for sure, but I don't imagine that a Rudd government is going to be heaven on earth.

(For instance, Hawke was a major disappointment to me.)

It's time for us to set an agenda: what will we require from our new government?

Dear Sirs
Happy deepawali. Due to President's illegalities and irregularities, gen sec filed a case praying for abstaining president till president is proved innocent. After 6 months of case in progress the gen sec resigned. I filed a suit for impleading. Now it seems that the original plaint filed by the gen sec has to be amended--meaning the gen sec has to give no objections or something like that. Need to know will it be technically legal for gen sec to give no objection eventhough he has resigned and/or gen sec can still give no objection for me to be impleaded even though he has resigned and by the mere fact the case was initiated by him; or most importantly just bcos gen sec has resigned that does not mean the case/suit dies with his resignation or gen sec can still continue with the case?? As usual only legal professional to advice and as applicable in India. It is an welfare society.

On the downside: artists may feel First Amendment rights are impinged; some innocent youth groups may get detained to Juvie; some may feel that one culture/ethnicity gets unfairly targeted.

On the upside, violent crime rates may 'drop off a cliff.'

Seems like the "violation" notices have been getting a bit stupid these days. If someone reports you, shouldn't you have the right to know who did it ? Or is the YA keyboard snitch system the way to go ?

If you have been UNJUSTLY violated, I say it's time to DEMAND Yahoo Answers to pony up the facts, and we all should flood the home office with email saying so ! Who is ready for the effort ?

Coup is described as encroachment upon functions of all other institutions of a Sate by one of the institution. Emergency is described as State apparatus functioning without accountability and public and media has no Right to criticise it.
India's Higher Judiciary is doing both these things, but the bloodless coup and undeclared emergency by Indian Higher Judiciary is not the attention of World media, though people are suffering more from it in India than probably the Pakistanis by Pakistan army. But why India's Higher Judiciary has succeeded in potering as Sacred Cow?

I can see him getting onto the ballot post-hillary around 2016 or 2020. he's next in line when it comes to the Bush family. Plus, he's the governor of a heavily populated state in Florida similar to how his brother, George W, was governor of another highly populated state in Texas.

My teacher is having us play lawyer we are either people for Thomas Jefferson or against him. If you are for him then you must debunk all the claims made by the Anti Thomas Jefferson Society of America. If you are against him your goal is to put him in jail, I don’t know which side I should fight for. Here are the charges being made by the A.T.J.S. of A would you agree with the charges below or disagree? give an adequate reason(s)

•Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal even though he owned more than 200 slaves at his home in Monticello.
•In his Notes on Virginia, Jefferson makes inflammatory and derogatory remarks directed against African Americans.
•He makes no mention of the rights of African Americans in the Declaration of Independence.
•He has not released all of his slaves in accordance with the prevailing sentiment that slavery was morally and ethically wrong in the period after the Declaration of Independence.

He is pro waterboarding, and a Bush crony to boot. This just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not a republican, but even if I were, he'd be last on my list. I think he'd make an absolutely HORRIBLE president, perhaps even worse than the one we have now. Is that what everyone really wants? I sure hope not!!

It seems to me that there is a danger people may decide that republican democracy is just not working anymore. Politics today are less partisan than they are nihilistic and fatalistic.

If this goes too far, might people embrace a charismatic sociopath bent on dismantling our constitution?

We saw the Bush administration throw peaceful Iraq into war, slaughtering thousands of innocents, far more than those alleged by Hussein, and in the process disregarding all international laws. My own innocent country was drawn in at knife point under Bush's brutal "with us or against us" policy. We have seen far more death, destruction and deceit, than any accused by the US, and yet Bush is free and proud. What do you think - Is the Bush administration a bunch of war criminals?

When Brian first appeared as the top contributor, he was way ahead of Beach Bum, so why wasn't he given the honor much earlier?

Was it because her viewpoints are much more in line with their own liberal ideology than the true top contributors?

Is this more evidence of their attempt to make the lib viewpoint seem more mainstream than it really is?

This, and the difference in the way they handle the violations and suspensions of cons' accounts in comparison to lib accounts?

Lots illegals are starting to leave, latino areas start to look like ghost towns

Anyone knows where are they fleeing to? Nearby states? Which direction? Or Mexico? Or Canada?

What we want is the tough laws, not the illegals, to propagate to other states...
