Seems like the "violation" notices have been getting a bit stupid these days. If someone reports you, shouldn't you have the right to know who did it ? Or is the YA keyboard snitch system the way to go ?

If you have been UNJUSTLY violated, I say it's time to DEMAND Yahoo Answers to pony up the facts, and we all should flood the home office with email saying so ! Who is ready for the effort ?

If you have had assasin reporting perpetrated on you, by knowing who did it, you can block them, and also make a case for being targeted unjustly.

Why are some Libs so afraid of Conservatives that they must stoop to these childish behaviors? Is it because we are so much more persuasive than they are? Is it because our logic and coherent arguments are like a splash of cold water in their dream world existence?

As you are aware, there is a highly suspicious all-out attack on Conservatives here. Brian, Suthrnlyts, Lamplighter, Alpha Male and others have been suspended. None of these suspensions are legitimate. Anyone who has read Suthrnlyts' answers knows that she is one of the most unoffensive and gracious regulars in the Politics section. The Yahoo administrators won't even respond to her because there is no way they can justify her suspension.

Yes ABSOLUTELY, we should have the ability to see who is our accuser. Since there will be no cloak of secrecy, people who legitimately report someone will not be afraid of anonymous reprisals.

If anyone wants to disagree with me, that is your prerogative. Unlike the gutless wonders who are systematically trying to get rid of the important Conservative contributors, I don't try to silence anyone. I don't report people when I don't agree with their position. I simply see it as an opportunity for me to educate one more person in this world.

I know what you mean. One of my answers got violated because I pretty much slinged heat at some racist jackass who had the gall to post an inappropriate question.

On the other hand, what the hell difference does it make who violated me? When I get a violation notice, I move on and forget it ever happened. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

I would be content if they would just tell me what interpretation of their guidelines they are using when giving me a violation.

When you answer a question with the word 'no.' and get a violation for it, things do seem a bit out of hand.

I don't think we should be getting violations because others don't agree with our opinion.

EDIT: I know see your reasoning for the person being named and yes, I get it. It makes a lot of sense.

It would be nice to know what the violation was, I have had questions not posted that I couldnt really see what the problem was. Another situation was mentioning Vallery Plame and saying "Blow her Cover", it didnt get posted for a while because of the word "Blow"???

I have been given kicked off real once I hit 5,000 factors. Say I violated and my account substitute into closed. i can't locate out what I pronounced or did or who I peed off. My feeling is it would be a wasted attempt.

Insulting an asker or answerer is a violation. Profanity is a violation. Libs get censored too, but we seem to learn to play by the rules a bit sooner than hate speech conservatives on here. I've had several violation notices, and realized that I was guilty as charged.
If Y!A doesn't point you to the offending comment, it may be because you're reporting users who didn't violate the rules. Unfair reporting is also a violation.

We know already. Left wing, PC freedom haters. Yahoo owners are the same. They gave the identities of dissidents to the Chinese Commie authorities. The owners are enemies of freedom. These left wing extremists need to be investigated.

Their system. They make the rules. If you don't like it, don't use it. It's a free country.
