Every other country appreciates businesses. They create jobs, they produce items of use for every one. Progress in a country depends on an active and encouraged business sector.

The sad part is that most of the luxuries that US libs and dems enjoy in this country are thanks to corporations. Not a day goes by when I don't see some moron protesting (I live in California) while jamming out to whatever the hell type of music their lot listens to on their iPod. And driving a car that was made possible by corporations, which was probably paid for by their parents who are also paying their kid's way through a Berkeley education with money they earned from, you guessed it, corporations.

Corporations are not the angry bogeyman liberals make them out to be. They make the lifestyle we are accustomed to possible. I am positive tho that there is at least one person on this board won't understand that I've thoroughly owned them and will either thumbs-down this answer, or post some witty retort on this forum that is hosted by, you guessed right again, a US corporation.

Obviously, I can't speak for all Democrats or liberals, but I know how I feel. I was raised in Detroit. It was a great city, with good employment, nice neighborhoods, churches and good schools. You should see it now...it looks like a war zone with empty buildings everywhere. Granted, the unions probably contributed to the corporate flight to Mexico, Canada, etc., but in my opinion, the main reason was greed at the top! The more they made, the more they coveted until they moved to countries where people work for "peanuts" and profits got even bigger. The gap between the rich and poor continues to widen and tax breaks for the rich continue to be sought after. And, that's just the auto industry. We've already lost the world's respect. I don't HATE cop orations...I know what they contribute to our way of life. I just hate the GREED that has overtaken them and taken away the jobs of so many! Actually, I do hate the toy industries that moved to China and sold poisoned toys for our kids. Unforgivable!

This is one of the Liberals biggest weaknesses! Bite the hand that feeds you. There frivolous lawsuits, Union demands, Raising taxes are shutting down corporations right and left! They consider this to be a great victory for the Liberals as the little man working at the bottom wins! They just don't understand the devastating consequences this has to America. With out big corporations America can not survive. Liberals can raise taxes all they want to and are doing so as I speak. But the bottom line is the more corporations that shut down the more people are unemployed and these workers now can't afford to pay taxes and to make things worse they now need the Government to step in for hand outs! It's not that tough to understand unless of coarse you are a Liberal!

Not all liberals do, but more do than I am comfortable with. Most modern corporations value their employees, pay them more and treat them better than small businesses do. I think they are just bad mouthing them out of habit, left over from the bad old days when corporation hired strike breakers to beat up union members. However I am beginning to doubt the usefulness of the financial companies on wall street, who repeatably seek abnormal profits by making risky investment knowing that they will be bailed out when things fall apart. In adds insult to injury when they describe their activities as creating wealth.

Why do US cons and Rep support a person that lies all the time?

Back slid'n all the way up the hill G Bush?
"History teaches us that underestimating the words of evil, ambitious men is a terrible mistake," Bush said. "Bin Laden and his terrorist allies have made their intentions as clear as Lenin and Hitler before them. And the question is, will we listen?"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071101/ap_o...

If I am not mistaken, Bin Laden is not a threat to the US. So why on earth would G Bush use him like this?

Just goes to show how much this man is a lier!

Somebody prove me wrong please, come on cons rep, answer the question...

Did he just not lie to the world? To his country? To his fellow man?

Yes or No?

If War Denial is dangerous, then Bin Laden must be a threat! It would be nice if this so called man made up his mind for the better of our troops!

Sorry Bas;lkj;

Because Libs and Dems are more interested in the common, working people and their rights than in the profits of the corporations. They see nothing holy about businesses that want to pollute and destroy and run small businesses out of town.

Libs and Dems are for the 95% of America. Corporations represent only the interests of the ultra wealthy 5%.

Us liberals don't hate corporations, we just hate corporate welfare and corporate malfeasance. Just because liberals don't kiss corporate *** while they move their businesses overseas and dodge taxes doesn't mean we liberals hate them, liberals just believe in tough love.

They are too short-sighted to realize that corporations are works of legal fiction. In reality corporations are large groups of people, people that Democrats claim to care about.
