I'm not interested in joining the Marines, but I'm wondering...

What type of physical ability do you have to display in boot camp? What kind of exercises do you do, etc?

I want the straight truth! No exaggerations!

My son just graduated from Marine boot camp. He had to so A LOT of physical conditioning while there. Go to www.Marineparents.com and follow the links for bootcamp info. Its the best site out there for info. you can also check out the USMC site.

Physical ability isn't as important as it is made out to be. Yes, it is important, but it's the strength in your heart and mind and committment that counts the most.

I think you need to be more mentally tough than physically tough.
