I'm all for them. Previously, I was opposed but Ted Kennedy and Stom Thurman changed my mind.

A really good one is so rare, I would hate to see one forced out because it was time. Now, if we could only get people to pay attention, care, and vote the dead wood out, there would be no need for term limits. Term limits became the rage with Newt Gangrich and the contract with America crowd. They were trying to get into power after 40 years of Dem control of congress. Term limits were one of the PR things they were using. What they meant was remove Dems that they wanted out. Didn't hear too much about term limits after they took power. Is your question an early sign that the concept on on the come back trail? The Reps are out of vogue again.

I would be against any term limits for Senators and Representatives. It is obvious that some may do a lot of good for the people they represent. Others just have 'em fooled and keep on doing the same thing.
My policy will always be to vote AGAINST the incumbent, and vote FOR the veteran. Politicians, like diapers, should be changed frequently, and for the SAME REASONS. (Robert A. Heinlein)

they are way past due.
these guys like Kennedy and Reid and several others on both sides of the isle need to go they are entrenched and the old ideas they espouse are our of date.
Plus after so many years there seems to be no way for anyone to unseat them.
Some new blood would do our system good as well as stopping the constant quest for power.
Once in office it seems to me that the whole purpose of politicians is to get re-elected not look after the best interests of we the people.
Throw the bums out.

I'm against them. It is a copout for voters too lazy or uninvolved to vote the incumbents out of office.
