No!! Even as a Republican, one had to admire his aptitude as a speaker. Remember, he was Catholic and there was much opposition from those with other beliefs. He was President in a trying time when the USSR wanted full domination of the world. Volunteering was quite prevalent and many " did for their country " . With the two major parties so far apart and divided I feel each person in the House, Senate, and Bureaus should use that quote as an every day ritual and stop all this " Pork barreling"
