Do I write a letter? What do I say? I figured Id just say forget it and it would be easier to just pay the fine even though the police offecer lied on my ticket.

I have a friend who has already served 6 years of his life sentence in Mississippi. Can he appeal his case at this point? get a lighter sentence? He's had good behavior, he was only 19 at the time of the offense and he was a Marine.

According to the news service SBS: "New figures show that British and American people make up the bulk of Australia's illegal immigrants, despite headlines and fluster about Middle Eastern boat people.

There were more than 10,000 illegal British and American immigrants in Australia on June 30 2004, about a fifth of all people who overstayed their visas and remained in the country unlawfully.

Another 3,900 Chinese illegal immigrants remained in Australia last year, along with 3,000 Indonesians and 2,800 South Koreans.

Afghans do not rate a mention, while there were less than 200 illegal Iranians in Australia in June. "

I always knew that selling pirate dvd's was illegal but I was informed that if you download them for your own private us and dontmake copies then it is ok. I was also told that if you only have one copy of a dvd that is ok as well. Is this true?

Today, there was a huge food fight in our school. Someone hit me in the back with a bagel, so I grabbed someone's pudding cup and threw it back. Everyone who was envolved went to the office, including me. They suspended me for 5 days.

But a few weeks ago some guy my age (15) beat my little brother (12) and sent him to he ER for a fractured rib and was only suspended for 3 days.This is obviously unfair, but did they find a loophole or something in rules that makes this right? I just wanna know if I can talk to them...

Just last week I was arrested and charged with Domestic violence. The scene briefly is this. Under doctors supervision I had been taking vicadin for post surgery pain due to a kidney stone. My wife and I argue, she slaps me in the back I restrain and shake her for a brief moment. we both attest to this in different words. My wife files a complaint 4 weeks later. I am charged, booked, and post bond. The police tell me I can only return home with a police escort to get some items, and that to return I would have to call again for the same. The next day I call to try to get some tools and medicine that I forgot in the strain of first ever run in with the law. They tell me now I can't. I wait a coulple of days and ask again as I am missing work without my tools and can't afford to buy all new ones. Now they tell me I can only go if I am with my lawyer and a police escort. How much you wanna bet tomorrow there will be new stipulations. Is this harassment ?

hi.
my bf is in IL for the training at the moment. He will graduate in few days and will go to A-school (engeneering) after it. How long is it? 10 weeks?
I wanna go visit him few days but he wrote that there are 3 parts during school, and only in the 3.Part it is allowed to stay the whole night outside. So how is it? It makes only sense to visit him after Part 1+2? How is it on the weekends in Part 1 n 2 (like during the week just until 9pm or midnight?).

After school is will go on a ship in VA, how often and for how long has he to go oversea? And where are the most ships around?

It will be very hard cuz I am going to my homecountry back in April and we havent that much time until April. Sucks :-(
