You and your parents need to go and ask why your discipline was more then the boy who hurt your brother so badly. Does not sound fair, but then again remember this: If you are continually in trouble at school the Officials get tierd of a habitual offender. Most times the habitual offender will be disciplined more severely. The saying is: We can tell what your future is, by the friends that you chum with. So when your in the Cafeteria, your manners are noticed. If you had any good manners, you would not have responded by some punk that does not have good table manners. It is a sin to throw good food around. Think of all the poor people who don't have good food to eat. Your 15 years old and should know better. Your suppose to set an example for the students below you. If your a continual offender in school rules, then possibly thats why your being given more days off. Be a good boy.

There is 2 different situation over here.
Case 1, you misbehaved, for being there during the so call huge food fight and secondly by responding which means you are also encouraging the fight. As a student you deserve to be suspended for losing your patient. In fact you should have either reported the situation to the school and bring your friends and you out of the area.
Case 2, either your parents or little brother should first report this matter to the police for protection and justice reasons. In fact this situation can be repeating to your brother again. Then your parents should also report/inform this matter to the school authority. This way we can avoid the same situation happening to the rest. Today your brother and tomorrow can mine too. Its not a case of suspension but its about discipline and life.
Hope your brother is recovering well.

There is nothing you can do, but you can ask your parents to write a letter to the School Board denoting how the treatment for you and the person who beat your little brother was not "equal".
Be careful, because you could easily be arrested for assaut and battery for throwing anything at anyone in school.

Sounds like your family is always in the middle of it. How about you take your punishment like a man without whining?
Let your parents talk to the principal about your brother's fight. It has nothing to do with the fact that you deserved your own punishment.

File a reconsideration of your case by citing the two incidents so that your suspension will be minimized.
