I was going to give one of those dry "It's too early..." answers.

Then I read all the answerers that think a Republican victory is solely based on keeping dead Democrats from voting.

So, yeah, the Republicans are in big trouble. No prominent candidate they can get behind, an amazingly unpopular sitting president, and a Democratic congress who is unpopular because they AREN'T EFFECTIVE ENOUGH.

Sure, there is plenty of time for Democrats to lose. And we have all witnessed them do it.

But, as of right now, the Republicans should be nervous, and I'm in a good mood.

You need to distinguish between Democrats in the southwest from those who cling to both coasts. If the Democrats want to capture these voters they had better not try to do it with the hand-picked darling of Move On dot org, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Workers' Union or the National Education Association. If they are serious about reaching these voters they need to take some of the "blue dog" Democrats in the House and Senate to dinner and pick their brains.

The winner of the next election will be whoever makes a better computer virus to rig the votes with the electronic voting being used.

I can't believe that the American ppl accepted that method of voting last time. Sheep.

The only reason Republicans have a reason to be nervous is because they stopped being conservative a long long time ago. If and when they go back to their roots, that will change.

Key word here in Arizona is libertarian (albiet in a fairly naive way). Any "conservative" who thinks he can whip out a cross and hide behind al qaeda will have a nasty surprise here.

Ask JD Hayworth - even McCain for that matter.
