Yes. With non verifiable electronic voting machines, just being buddies with the machine owners works well. ES&S, Diebold voting machine account for over half of the votes in the US. look at the past 15 yrs. everyone places so much importance on the executive branch and the legislative branch makes the laws. they run good campaigns and then govern badly.cexamples are social securtiy in trouble but extending benefits to illegals, not securing border, no line item veto, no alternate fuel and on and on

yes, the pelosi reid regime and the clintons are textbook examples of same that as leaders directed the liberal party down the dumper. in effect the liberals because of poor leadership won the battle but lost the war which is what i think your after in this question.
