Should I join the American Communist Party?
I realize that its a lost cause. But I do support China. And the way I see it, America is so corrupt and decadent, that if I try to change things "inside the system", I'll either lose out to people more cruel than me, or become so evil myself that I won't stand for anything.

Better to be a man of good character fighting for a lost cause than a successful goon. Look at all of history's heroes with the exception of militrary men like Napoleon, none of them played inside the sytem even when thier cause seemed dire and hopeless.

I'm not looking for a history lesson here. I know the "Dirty little secrets" of communism, like the back of my hand. But I support the communist Part of china. What I'm looking for is philsophical feedback on what is a better life spent. Fighting inside the system hoping to work your way up and make a difference or fighting outside the system for a "pure and noble" cause with no chance of victory?

The CPUSA is the ONLY party that supports the government in China.

My father passed away 2 weeks ago. His residence was NY, mine is NJ. I am the successor trustee, and primary beneficiary named in my father's revocable living trust, and the executor and only beneficiary in his small (pourover?) will. The trust says I will get 1/2, and 5 other relatives will get the other 1/2 divided into different percentages. The total trust is around $600,000.

Every article I can find from Google says you don't need probate. My father's banker made it sound so simple, all the funds will go into a new acct, and the Trust Dept will disburse the $ according to the trust. My father's lawyer says it is vital to get letters testamentary, trust executor letters and pay $8000 for probate and $12000 retainer to protect my interests, regarding estate taxes, irate relatives etc. I have a call in to another lawyer for a second opinion.

Professional opinions, please.

Of course you fools probably don't care about the future, judging by your stance on global warming.

WELCOME to our website, which describes our mission, gives you up-to-date information on the growing illegal alien problem and how it effects every aspect of your life and that of the lives of our children. It also provides you links to other websites of patriots who are aiding the United States in eradicating the illegal alien lawbreakers threatening our rule of law, our sovereignty and the future of OUR CHILDREN.
Guide yourself through all the information, and then YOU decide if our children are the forgotten and silent victims when it comes to their education in schools overrun by illegal aliens and to their safety from a border in peril. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide for yourself if you want to get involved, protect your family and country, or if you’d rather watch from the sidelines and let our government do your bidding as it gives away your livelihood, your future and your country to a foreign entity that is dictating U.S. immigration policy.

The members and volunteers of MAIA have made a commitment to continue to educate and inform all legal citizens of America, since our government and the media are side-stepping the real issues: that our children and our country are at risk of being eliminated!

THEREFORE, it is up to a mother to protect her family, and it is a family’s job to protect each other. Members and families of MAIA are NOT only mothers; they are fathers, sisters, brothers and legal citizens of America!

Discover the real threat to America by reading about radical and well-organized “Hispanic” organizations whose goal is the reconquering of the Southwest. These groups are known as Atzlan, La Raza, LULAC, LaMecha, MALDEF, and others not as well-known.

just one (AND CITE YOUR SOURCE). i've never seen any liberal say that. it truly seems to be just another fabricated lie. if the right truly is the party of values, if they can't come up with any source, will they apologize for the lie? i guess we'll see

p.s. no "they've never said it, but they've implied it by . . . [being against the iraq war] [wanting the troops home] [not wanting to bomb any country we can] etc.". i'm not looking for implications. how would you feel if i called you a war lover because you support the iraq war? i'm sure you wouldn't like it. no implications. it's not reliable, and the implication is subjectively judged. ONLY FACTS

regardless of political affiliation
- bush is NOT the antichrist
- hillary is NOT the great evil
- cheney is just a man doing whatever he does
- obama is really as qualified as anyone (we vote in actors for goodness sake - california anyone - two times already)

so why are u so nasty in comments when it is a person from a party that u are against

(p.s. the worst thing i've ever said was ann coulter was probably a man at birth BUT in my defense i really believe this to be true. her adam's apple, body type and for a sexually active woman who is prolife she has never had children. and she want to kill everything (mostly a guy thing testosterone driven - but to all the ann lover's -- i am sorry i feel that way)

I was just wondering If it's legal to get sole custody of ur child, and still get child support from my ex.

I'm really tired of the mind games, the neglect and suffering that he is causeing to my children.

I thought to just seek sole custody, because whenever he comes around we argue about stupid things, such as clothes....He doesn't want my son to wear anything from his house over to my place, no toys are allowed from his place. That's just a small fraction of the BS I have to put up with. I've tried to talk things out with him...but he seems hell bent on us being at war.

On top of that...he never wants to see his son anyway. Only comes around to make him self look good every now and then. "Mind games".

My son is being used as a pawn in his pathetic world...I'm too ill to keep fighting over silly matters, further more I really need the most emotinally stable life style for my kid. " These fights Have got to stop" I know that they ever will!

A close family member of mine has been receiving death threats by telephone for the past 3 days. The first night he called 13 times in 45 minutes and informed her that someone had paid him $5000 to kill her. She called the police. While they were there he didn't call...as soon as he left he started the calls again. The police told her that they could not trace it b/c he was blocking the number. Now it's 2 days later and the calls are relentless. It seems that her house is being watched due to the way the calls are coming. This afternoon someone was beating on her door and she was too scared to go to it. When she called they told her they would add it to the report. They sent her to sign a release for the # to be traced, but when she got there they told her that they couldn't because a crime hadn't been committed. I cannot believe this!!! Does she have to die before they will do something? Who knows what's gonna happen next,he's already gotten brave enought to come to the door

About a month and a half ago I was contacted by someone for the Law Office of Christopher Renieri. The guy rattled off a case number and stressed that it was imperative that I call him immediately. I ignored him because there is no pending lawsuit that I am aware of in any state I've resided. A couple of days ago I received a second call. Has anyone else dealt with this company? Also how is it possible for him to have a case number when no paperwork has been filed?

because websites like proenglish.org email millions of people and inform them via email when a vote is due and then gives us a simple format to follow if we wish to contact our senators and congressmen, via email, or in the case of the vote today, provided phone numbers to our senators. All you need to do is make the phone call, make your voice known. It's a great way to get your opinion across to your elected officials.
I say to you, dirty Harry Reid, I hope you take the remnants of this defeated bill that you proposed today and use it for what it is really useful, in your bathroom or litter box.
if you disagree, why do you think this abhorrent bill failed?

In August I signed a contract with a Building Contractor to install a new roof, it is now the end of October and the work has yet to be done. The roof started leaking into the house 3 days ago and we called him and he still has not shown up to even put temporary tarps on the roof until the rain lets up. Is there anyway I can get out of this contract and hire someone that will actually do the work? He never even called to say why he didn't show up or when, we had to call him and it was excuse after excuse!
If it is not fixed soon we will have a lot of water damage.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
