lower paying jobs as in wal-mart, burger king, etc,. retrain as in coming to Canada were your old job in your old country was a docter and having to take a course again if you want to remain a doctor.

My boyfriend wants to take care of his parents and buy them a house, I don't want to live with them, I told him he can buy them a house. Facts:
-Live in Illinois, got a 0.080% DUI in June in Phoenix
-Had a prior Illinois DUI in 1996
-Just completed an unrelated 4 month suspension for 4 speeding tickets. (by the way, this dui did not occur during the suspension time)
-The Arizona DUI was reduced to Reckless Driving.

Someone told me that if (big if apparently) the Arizona dui is reported thru the interstate reciprocal agreement to Illinois, I will be Revoked in Illinois. Is this true or not? I am hoping this person mistakenly forgot that my Arizona charge is no longer a DUI, and was officially reduced to Reckless Driving.

Does anyone here know if a prior DUI + a reckless driving 11 years later equals revocation? (Or even if the reckless + the 4 speeding tickets equals revocation?)

I can handle a suspension, and getting a restricted permit, but Im worried about the Revocation advise I got.

I'm puzzled by this phrase. It always seems to refer to a sort of phantom, wishy-washy, self-hating, unpatriotic, grubby little troll that I have never actually met in my life, whereas 'liberal' actually has a quite specific meaning in UK political history and a different meaning again in the history of globalisation.

I for one am way to the left of 'liberal', and will be grateful if I'm not tarred with that brush. I'm a proud, upstanding, left-wing anarchist, further left even than your average communist party member. Where do I fit into the average American neo-con picture of the world?

USWA In Indiana. Our contract states that all absences will be excused with doctors note or receipt for auto repairs and so forth.

My union is telling me that I can be arbitrarily labeled as "Unemployable" and fired, even with medically excused absences. They also tell me that this law is in the U.S. Constitution. (okay?)

Funny thing, my employer has never stated this when I am presenting them with a doctors excuse after being absent. Its only coming from the union.

When I ask the Union for documentation on the matter, they clearly get upset, and then fail to produce any.

So, does anyone know if there is any truth to this "Unemployable" status?

If so, what criteria must be met, to be labeled as such.
