Contact the Legal Practitioners Conduct Board you can get a complaint form from Legal Aid and it asks you to list all of your grievances, they require evidence that you have given specific instructions to your lawyer and that they have not carried out your wishes or informed you of your rights. First and foremost they expect you to discuss grievances with your lawyer it is up to you to ask questions and find out the reasons for actions. Put in writing all correspondence to your lawyer so that you can keep a record of what is happening, Good Luck

1st. make an appointment to go sit down with your lawyer or case manager and discuss your concerns. "not enough 2 make me happy" - the legal process can be complicated and can depend on forces outside of your lawyers control. You may have unrealistic expectations. So - sit down with your lawyer and have an honest dialog about your case, what has been done and what needs to be done.

2. if you want to push it - you can contact the local bar association. Be aware -you will probably have to find another lawyer after doing that and you will still owe your original lawyer for the services rendered. It would probably be a good idea to read the retainer contract you signed.
