Yes if I was injured and needed medical assistance. I would sue for the medical cost. And, if was injured so severely that I was hospitalized and under Dr's orders not to work until medically released to return. Then I would sue for medical expenses and damages. If the display fell on me and I was not injured or kept from supporting myself or family then, no I would not sue.

Only if you got seriously injured and you believe the company was negligent and that is why it fell. Other than that you would be fighting an uphill battle in court and the company would probably be able to hire better lawyers than you.

if you required a trip to the emergency room and required medical attention that the company refused to pay for then I would file a law suit only to cover my expenses and leave the "judgment call" for damages up to a jury. Be honest with yourself and people that surround you. You may be the victim of a law suit yourself someday and honesty is the best policy. good luck

I don't know.
If I got a date with Trent out of it, probably not.
Oh, why hasn't anybody seen Playing by Heart? That movie's AWESOME!
Trent is the MAN!
Eh, I dunno. Depends on if they paid my medical bills. If not, yeah, I guess I'd have to.
If they're negligent, then I have a pretty good case, now, don't I?
But if I get a date with Trent as a pre-emptive strike against litigation...then I wouldn't.
Oh, go watch the movie and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Only if I was seriously hurt and they refused to pay for my medical bills and lost wages. People are way too sue-happy these days, I don't respect anyone who would sue when it isn't justified.

I have health insurance so I wouldn't have bills. I would expect an apology, but would I sue --- absolutely not.
There is this word in the English language that covers situations such as this: accident.

Did you get hurt? If you did you should. But if you didn't lose money over it (ie a work day) it's hardly worth the bother and will cost you a lot more money than you would get from any settlement, which likely wouldn't win anyhow.

very much so the displays in the stores are supposed to be very stable and safe. Unless you purposely tried and succeeded to knock it over on yourself.
