I have no expectation of being treated fairly here or anywhere else
in fact if there was not so much dissension on here this site would be boring
thats what is great about america, our right to freely disagree with each other and our government
as far as Y/A censoring right wing politics, that is to be expected from the libs that control all forms of media

I'm not sure you are aware of this but women are people too. Just like you think it's unfair to pay for dates, I think it's unfair and ridiculous to assert that all women expect this type of treatment. However, I would suggest that you keep looking for a woman that wants to pay for everything and wants a man that doesn't think women deserve to be paid equally. I'm sure she's out there somewhere.... I think you would be surprised at how much you would learn if you stopped being such an idiot. The point is that everyone is different and can't be thrown into any sort of grouping be it many or all. Another point is that there aren't many people who still get into arguments about semantics when the issue at hand is social justice. You have no clue how ignorant you sound. You could have asked: what is an appropriate way to get women to go dutch on dates? This would be a great place to start. It's sensitive to the fact that maybe the dating climate will change as equality is truly realized. I see your question as ignorant and a step backwards in this regard. I do not suffer from dementia, but I do have some patients that do and even they would be appalled by your question. The only affliction I have is suffering from having a moral compass. You should probably try to go buy one of those on ebay along with a book about the civil rights movement. Until then, enjoy being a self-righteous turd. This thread has turned into a truly remarkable testament to the fact that most people on the internet are completely out of touch and have some really crazy views. Yikes. The statistic that will keep me from feeling crazy myself is that my generation has been proven to be more accepting to cultural, religious, sexual orientation, and gender differences. Just to clarify, I'm male, straight, and pay for my date's dinner. It may be a little old fashioned but at least I present myself as a gentlemen which is more than I can say for you and your poorly contrived argument that involves ladies nights at bars being a reason to pay them less.

I DID expect to be treated fair . But I lost that grand illusion awhile back . I really don't know you but perhaps you should have or should get to know some of us other conservatives before you make a rash decision based upon current emotion .
I don't know what you got violated for , but I got violated not only for something I never did and never said , but it was also something that I personally consider abhorrent and would never even think to do ! And mine wasn't just a random violation , nope , it was an account suspension . AND it was the second time the dirty sob's did it to me . AND it was the second time that Yahoo moderators flatout lied and said that I did in fact do what they said . That really offended me !
Clearly a set-up from the left and clearly with help from Yahoo employees . All they had to do was read whatever was reported as a violation and it would've been crystal clear that I was targeted by the left . But Yahoo IS the left , so fairness will never be the order of the day for a conservative . There's quite a few of us too .
Oh sure , you'll see liberals get falsely reported too , but never once have I seen or heard of one get such outrageously bogus violations AND suspension without recourse or redress .
Do what you want but there is something you should know .
You may have made a difference with one or even many people . You may have correctly steered an out of control 'car' back onto the road of truth and reality . And then you're also left with one question that only you can ask yourself and only you can answer.. . . . . "Have you ever made the claim that liberals base decisions upon 'emotion' rather than sound logic "?. . . . . . . . . if ya didn't get the inner meaning yet , read it again , and read between the lines .

But I'll give ya a star !!

I, too, have been very disappointed by my treatment at this site.

It is at times akin to the sort of anarchy libs dream about in the real world - no fairness, no common sense and no integrity among the staff. Libs rule.

However, I do hope that you will stay. Connect with others who share your viewpoints and stay away from those who ask questions that result in wrongful violations for you.

Well, yes, as I try very hard (with occasional lapses) not to violate the rules of the site. I am completely amazed at those users who have no idea what constitutes a "rant", or "chat" or who insist on treating this "Question and Answer" forum as a chat room or a debate site. it is neither.

Once embracing the TOS for Yahoo Answers, I have had very little problem since. Once in a while, some troll will systemically go through and try to violate ALL my answers to questions, but the right Block User puts an end to that, pretty quickly.

welcome to the far left world of YA. same sh*t different day. the misguided can write insulting
and derogatory statements about anyone, including the president, with absolutely no repercussions. I have also seen hundreds of people that condone violence against leaders and other people that they do not agree with. I'm just about with you on leaving the site because everytime that I have genuinely responded to such trash I have been given violations. Wish I had an answer to your question, other than a simple "no". Hopefully, when you return, it may be better. One can only hope I guess.

I try to treat others the way I'd like to be treated, and it seems to work pretty well. No, I'm not a Christian... but I still think that "do unto others" thing is a sound principle.

After reading whats been written about our president and having some of my own questions censored, I'd have to say no.
An example of a question I had rejected referenced WVA Senator Byrd and his history being leader of racist group.
That's a fact.
People make up **** about Pres Bush and they can post it.
WTF?

I think this site has a too-tolerant attitude towards people who are offended by content.

I think it should be possible to register two levels of complaint. One would correspond to 'I find this offensive but I don't wish the site to do anything about it, because whatever about my own opinion, it's a legitimate point of view'. The second, and more serious level, would correspond to 'I find this offensive and wish it to be removed'. I have had perfectly harmless remarks removed, simply because someone complained about them. Yahoo ought to process remarks based on the number and degree of complaint made, and make decisions based on that assessment, not simply remove everything that anyone complains about.

I don't expect anything from this website. There will always be people with different views than me. It's more like enter at your own risk here.
