No, it is not just you... I think the same thing. We were just talking about that yesterday in my office. I told my boss, right now, I really don't see anybody that really jumps out at me from either party.

Got to be looney to actually want a job that has that much stress going on 24/7/365 for 4 to 8 years. What sane person would put themselves through that?

Great question! There is one good, honest, experienced and qualified candidate in the running though. John McCain. A war hero, prisoner of war, a Navy Captain. On probably 50% of the issues, I am diametrically opposed to his views. Yet I respect him so much that I will vote for him. Whatever he does will be from his heart and in the best interests of the nation. I had the pleasure of meeting him as he first entered politics. That was 1981 and he was just running for U.S. Congressman in Arizona. I worked for a missile manufacturer and was given to showing the facillities. We also manufactured ejection seats for aircraft. Something he had the displeasure of having to use over North Viet Nam. A great man. I just wish more Americans would get behind him and vote. All others are not only luney, but unqualified, lacking in morals, integrity and change day to day on their platforms.

What a shame that our great nation cannot seem to come up with some WORTHY candidates. It seems as if our political parties play games.......and they leave us with very, very little to choose from. Looney???? I would rather call them incompetent.

they have to be, look at it this way, as president, not matter what you do 75% of the people are going to think you are wrong.

you have the press watching your every move hoping to find something wrong about what you are doing, and if they can't find anything they will make something up.

do you really think a sane man, or woman would actually want a job like this?

you are completely correct sir. It seems as though EVERY candidate on all sides is completely nuts, inexperienced, or just plain stupid. It's quite sad cause now voters are left to choose which moron they wanna put in the office.

You'd have to be to run for president--It comes down to who's looniness you are willing to accept.

Sort of like do you live with the roommate who likes to play rockmaninaff at 4AM and believes that the government is speaking to him through his dental fillings, it's annoying but he pays the rent and cleans up after himself.
