When Mitt Romney ran for election as the governor of Massachusetts, a typically Pro-Democrat state, he was pro-abortion and pro-gay right to marriage.

Now that Romney is running for the Republican Party ticket for president, in order to appease the general platform of his party, Romney is anti-abortion and anti-gay right to marriage.

Which set of beliefs does Romney actually adhere to; do you believe he changed his stance to merely to win the Republican Party ticket for president? Will Romney's actions if elected president contradict his new platform, as Arnold Schwartzenegger has changed since he has been in office?

This isn't a question, more like a message to people all around the world. Please don't think of us Iranians as islamic terrorists. All we want is our freedom in Iran. We don't care about any relegion. We love our country-Iran-but hate the islamic government. So, please spread the word. Non of us Iranians hate any country in the world. In fact, if you go to Iran and talk to people, you can clearly see that nobody hates America, or Israel, etc. All we ever wanted was to be free, and have a democratic regime. But now, our image implies anything but peace, and this is all because of Islamic fascists governing our country. We Iranians are under constant pain every day in Iran. Our government kills and tortures Iranians on a daily basis, and they do that all according to Islamic laws. So, as an Iranian, I beg of you to spread the word. Iranians do not agree with Ahmadinejad at all. All we want is our country back. Peace,Freedom, and democracy. Thank you for your time.

my boyfriend is being falsely accused of molesting his son's mom's 2 sisters 2 years ago. It just came up recently after his son's mom got back from a coke binge to stay with her parents and now she's trying to get custody back of their son. What does he do? He's been arrested for it and can't afford an attorney. His son's mom put her sisters up to this because since she lost her son and put her other one up for adoption she wants him back.

The liberal media doesn't seem to want people to know that cities along the Mexican border which are primarily Hispanic Americans have a zero tolerance policy on illegal immigration. I've heard this on conservative talk shows. They say the largest voting block against Amnesty are the Latino and Hispanic Communities in the U.S.

TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran warned on Saturday it would fire off 11,000 rockets at enemy bases within the space of a minute if the United States launched military action against the Islamic republic.
"In the first minute of an invasion by the enemy, 11,000 rockets and cannons would be fired at enemy bases," said a brig. general in the elite Revolutionary Guards, Mahmoud Chaharbaghi.

"This volume and speed of firing would continue," added Chaharbaghi, who is commander of artillery and missiles of the Guards' ground forces
.
Iranian officials have repeatedly warned the military would target the bases of US forces operating in neighbouring Iraq and Afghanistan in the event of any attack and already has these sites under close surveillance.

They know the Mid. East better than we do...MUCH better.

I have been stationed all over the world and everytime I left all I wanted to do was come home. I have been stationed in so many cities across the nation that I don't even have a home town, I am a military gypsy. While stationed or in some foriegn country all the locals could do was ask "Is America as wonderful as it sounds?" My reply was always yes. These countries include Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. So I ask again; Why is it so hard to believe that this country is the best in the world today?

Does it undermine your trust in the cop when he could easily have made a tape?

What if he says he does not make tapes because people are less likely to talk freely when they see a recorder?

Would it make a difference if there was another cop present, but he could not confirm what the first cop says the defendant admitted?

I am interested in how jurors sort out circumstances like this. Some people think a cop will be believed rather than the defendant. Other's think it is very suspicious when a cop sets up circumstances where it his word against the defendant.
