Depends on what they did to go in the first place. Some criminals should be taken to the courthouse parking lot and hanged in front of school kids as a lesson on crime.

It conpletely depends on the circumstances surrounding the sentence and the convicted person.
If there is a reasonable chance that the person can rejoin the populace without reoffending in any way then he/she should have that chance eventually.
Prison serves two main purposes. Punishment for the crime is the main purpose. Simply making it impossible for that person to do more damage to the public is the secondary purpose.
People like Manson, who have blatantly stated that they would reoffend, should be kept in prison to protect the public.

Of course. If you have a serial killer.... or someone that just cannot survive outside of the jail system without hurting other people, yes. Should political activists be jailed forever? no.
Pedophiles, rapists, serial killers, get them off the streets and keep them off the streets.

Yes. There is a lot of room for child molesters, rapists, and baby killers in those cells, and thre's plenty more room in the electric chair.

no.nobody should be put in prison,there should be no police force,there should be no court,legal,judicial system whatsoever.people should be allowed to do whatever they want to do.p.s.dont get murdered,become a victim of a crime or get cheated in any way,shape or form.
