Yes, it's true. My whole family is this way because they feel that illegals make them look bad, mess up wherever they live, and try to put them down because we aren't from Latin America so they call us Gringos. A lot of people don't realize that a lot of Hispanic families in the Southwest are here because they've been here since before the Mexican -American war.

Most Hispanics want amnesty. Just under half of VOTING Hispanics are against amnesty. Among Hispanics, the voting population along the border have the least tolerance on illegal immigration. It is not zero tolerance however, although as their property values go down and crime in their area increases, their tolerance is creeping towards zero.

First thing is that they are the same people, they just select the name that makes them feel more superior. Amnesty for all doesn't do any good except put more burden on the people in the US that work, pay their taxes and pay into the Social Security Fund. There are good people for one reason or another have lost their means of supporting their families or self, that we need to give more attention to than offering Amnesty to some immigrants that we'll have to support for all their needs. There would be no need for Amnesty if our Government and all these special interest groups would let it be known everyone and families would need a sponsor in order to enter the US as it was many years ago. Oh yes, things change and we with time, because of these special interest groups it has become our duty to support all these people and change our standards to meet their needs. Unless you live in Red Neck Country this is taking place. They all want to come to the US and then demand we change our standards that many people have given their lifes and limbs for, yet they can't understand nor are able to live here until we change the standards to meet their needs.

The vast majority of Americans are against illegal immigration, and do not support amnesty for criminals.
Simple math and reason says that the legal immigrants fall into that camp as well.

Legal immigrants are among the most vocal against the illegal. They worked hard to attain their status, only to see the lazy just take.

Ah hahahaha ...
You'd think people would've learned by now not to believe what they hear on conservative talk shows. Latinos (and Hispanics - they're the same people) aren't a large enough proportion of the population for them to be the largest voting bloc on any issue.
The largest anti-amnesty voting bloc are knee-jerk Caucasian conservatives. Exactly the group that listens to conservative talk shows.
