I tried, but I am unable to load my avatar or picture for use in posting forums. People seem to post the same old questions from time to time. Sometimes questions are meaningless or are attacks on public figures. Yahoo! Answers is poorly archived and if you want to add to an old posting you can't. There should be improvements made to Yahoo! Answers, so we people don't have to waste our time going through a slew of junk postings. It's a waste of our time!

Postings do seem to influence public opinion as they flash by the first few pages in about a day's time. Few people ever get to see your posting and even fewer comment!

The idea of allowing people the freedom to speak their mind is good. Thanks Yahoo. Answers this is your best feature!

We post in Yahoo! Answers and hardly anyone notices. Our influence on public opinion is negligible. This seems like a good place to post a lot of rubbish so as to be able to rack up Yahoo! Answer points. Yes?

As in standing on the street or in a public place asking for handouts and making up stories saying why you could use some money.

Cause I ran into 2 beggers this week, some 40 year old trashy guy in a deli parking lot saying he needs gas money, and a girl at the mall just wineing about how she needed a few extra bucks so she can buy clothes.

From Rush & Ann Coulter on down, all they do is bad mouth liberals & call them all sorts of names. They are always so angry & combatitive. Why can't they have a reasonable discussion & just exchange views & ideas without getting all bent out-of-shape? Is this why they always wage wars with other countries?

I am Anishnabe, Native American, Indian, whatever. Why do you use my people for your arguments? We don't like it. We live for peace and harmony. We obey the laws of the land. We have come up from the ashes. Do not use us in your arguments.

One of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".

Dr Gray, whose annual forecasts of the number of tropical storms and hurricanes are widely publicised, said a natural cycle of ocean water temperatures - related to the amount of salt in ocean water - was responsible for the global warming that he acknowledges has taken place.

However, he said, that same cycle meant a period of cooling would begin soon and last for several years.

"We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was," Dr Gray said.

During his speech to a crowd of about 300 that included meteorology students and a host of professional meteorologists, Dr Gray also said those who had linked global warming to the increased number of hurricanes in recent years were in error.

In U.S.legal context, narcotic refers to opium, opium derivatives, and their semi-synthetic or fully synthetic substitutes "as well as cocaine and coca leaves," which although classified as "narcotics" in the U.S. Controlled Substances Act (CSA), are chemically not narcotics. Contrary to popular belief, marijuana is not a narcotic. Neither are LSD and other psychedelic drugs.[4]

Many law enforcement officials in the United States inaccurately use the word "narcotic" to refer to any illegal drug or any unlawfully possessed drug.

Ok so my friends son came home from school and asked him who he was going to vote for and his dad says I don't know yet I am still looking into this and his son said because my teacher said that everyone should be voting for Obama!
I personally agree with the right to free speech but when you are a teacher and are molding the minds of young children, I think you have a right to act responsibly and neutral unless asked outside the arena of teaching. Anyone else agree with me? I mean a kid got in trouble last week for wearing a John Edwards T-shirt but this lady can just bust out with "everyone should vote for Obama?" How do you all feel about this? What would you do /say if this was your kid. I mean when I vote I will tell someone who I voted for if they ask but I don't think what she did was right. I would never try to influence someone elses decision about something like this. how do you feel?

Interested in joining the Army, however I'm looking for an MOS that has a low deployment possiblity. Although I'd go if I must and I understand I cannot be promised no deployment I am looking for an MOS where deployment is uncomon. I understand the Army is the only military unit that will guarentee a specific MOS before signing.
