I've been going through one of the worst things in my life recently!! I was offered a job online that i thought was credible turns out i was being scammed.. (you know those scams where they send you money orders and you cash them and wire them some of it back?) I understand now why that was ridiculously stupid... i was arrested at my bank with my neighbors watching because they said i was trying to cash fake checks... is that FAIR??? i had to spend 2 nights in jail for being scammed? and i now have a record for FRAUD... the cops even said that i was a victim of a scam but now i have a record and i had to spend time in jail WTH??! can i fight this? can this really happen to a innocent person? I dont want a record i want to be a teacher in the future help me please.....

Firstly I am not Carolyn, she's my partner and we're using her login.

When I was 18 and my daughter was 1, she was 'taken' into custody by her maternal grandmother. For the past 12 years I've paid child support but have continually been denied any form of visitation or access by the grandmother.

I now live in Queensland and my daughter is in Darwin. The child's mother and I have not been together since that time. She does not pay child support nor does she have a relationship with our daughter.

This has never been through the court system and paternity has never been verified. Rather this situation is the result of my youth, inexperience and financial vulnerability at the time.

I would like to know whether I have any rights to custody, and what my options are regarding child support. I'd also like some advice regarding legal aid/representation. Things are becoming rather confusing as my partner and I are expecting our first child in January 2008.

Monarchy is associated with Nepal's identity, history, culture and national independence. A proxy war is being fought in Nepal to get rid of this important institution and colonise Nepal as part of India. Nepal's hydropower, Himalayas and its strategic location to contain China are the motivating factors. We must have monarchy in the interest of the nation.

There is a "non-binding" resolution before Congress that will call the death's of 1.5 million Armenians, killed by Ottoman Turks around the time of WWI genocide. These deaths occured as a result of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, and is ancient history, yet Nancy Pelosi and her "cure all or kill all" friends in the House want to pass this resolution because "they can." Turkey is a key player in maintaining a supply route to our Military personel in Iraq and Afghanistan; they have been our allies for decades, and now, because of the liberal thinking of a few, Turkey may now become a part of the problem in the Middle East instead of part of the cure. They have recalled their Ambassador to Washington, to discuss the anti-Turkish agenda now before the House and Senate...it looks grim from all points of view. So tell me...do we need another enemy is the Middle East? Do we need to make waves over a situation that happened nearly 100 years ago? Please share your good thoughts.Thanks.

I ran out of room for a question mark. These are companies contracted out by the U.S. government, separate from the military that are motivated by profits. There is nothing wrong with making money, but they do seem to employ quasi military forces. Blackwater would be one such company.

a substitute for patriotism? I don't think I understand how having a flag or anything like a flag lapel pin could be a substitute. I don't have a reference other than an article I just read in the paper.

I think it is. Therefor I recomen the government stop recognizing it all together.
If the gov. wants to issue domestic partnerships so that all couples are equal under the law, then that is the only viable option that doesn't put some Americans above others.

It's the only constitutional solution to the issue.
Your thoughts?

Why then, do they accuse everyone who dislikes Bush of hating America?

Especially when Bush has worked so hard at being disliked with his horrendous policies.

how is it supposed to get a guy to confess a murder? all i know is that they put you in this small confined room and talk. they say things like ,"how did you kill them" or "wheres the weapon?" it goes on for hours. if this guy is inocent, he'll keep pleading his inocents. but these jack as detectives keep them in for hours on end trying to get them to say that they did it. the innocent person suffers through pressure and complete bordem. and they always have to watch what they say too. they say one thing that seems guilty in a very small way, they book 'em. they end up going to prison because they wanted out of that room.

what does interigation do any way? from what i see, it makes an inocent person lie and say they did the murder because they couldnt take the bordem?

i have never murdered any one! so i dont know

Being that DEA regulates medications prescribed by your doctor how much do you think the DEA knows about your personal life? I would imagine that quite a bit could be learned about a person by the medication prescribed to them. Has anybody ever considered this?

I am not thoroughly educated in this topic, and I am currently VERY confused on whether republic is a type of democracy. I need accurate information, so I can use it on my debate on why democracy is not the best type of government. Thank you, if you answered my question.
