Monarchy is associated with Nepal's identity, history, culture and national independence. A proxy war is being fought in Nepal to get rid of this important institution and colonise Nepal as part of India. Nepal's hydropower, Himalayas and its strategic location to contain China are the motivating factors. We must have monarchy in the interest of the nation.

Countries surive even without monarchy.Through out the world monarchy is being replaced by democracy.In a few years monarchy will be thing of the past.The Nepal kings did not do anything for the betterment of the people.They had lavish life.Now the people are against them.India has never tried to colonise Nepal.It could have done it several years before.You donot undersatand what is happening in Nepal.Nepal has become den of terrorists,counterfeit notes and drugs.The Chinese helped Maoists are now controlling Nepal(not India).I will not be surprised if in the near future ,China will make Nepal as part of it.A democratic Govt concerned with need of the people of Nepal is the immediate need.Otherwise like Tibet,Nepal also will be a part of China.
