One of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".
Dr Gray, whose annual forecasts of the number of tropical storms and hurricanes are widely publicised, said a natural cycle of ocean water temperatures - related to the amount of salt in ocean water - was responsible for the global warming that he acknowledges has taken place.
However, he said, that same cycle meant a period of cooling would begin soon and last for several years.
"We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was," Dr Gray said.
During his speech to a crowd of about 300 that included meteorology students and a host of professional meteorologists, Dr Gray also said those who had linked global warming to the increased number of hurricanes in recent years were in error.

He cited statistics showing there were 101 hurricanes from 1900 to 1949, in a period of cooler global temperatures, compared to 83 from 1957 to 2006 when the earth warmed.
"The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures," Dr Gray said.
He said his beliefs had made him an outsider in popular science.
"It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd never get any grants if they spoke out. I don't care about grants."

Yes. I think he is motivated by greed and fame. He gets paid well over $100,000 each time he speaks on global warming. ("including Gore's $125,000 fee" http://www.canada.com/reginaleaderpost/news/story.html?id=6a0e906c-a916-4075-8e09-fff2d1ea67ef&k=47090 )
Also, CO2 global warming theory was just proven wrong a couple of months ago. NASA announced a correction to historic temperature data. The warmest year on record is now 1934, not 1998. That means CO2 is not causing the rise in temperatures because temperatures dropped in the middle of the 1900's while CO2 levels were increasing.
There are many links to websites and NASA data in the link below.

" The 'CO2' Global Warming Theory Officially Proven Wrong. When Will Liberals Announce The Corrections? "
Also, USA Today recently printed an article about Japan's record temperature was in 1933. NASA's corrected data shows the greatest temperature was in the U.S. was in 1934. Japan's records are separate from NASA's records and both have similar figures.

It would be wise to check your sources before positing information such as this. Dr. Gray, while a very fine predictor of hurricane's has no peer reviewed work on global warming. He is a professor emeritus (retired) of meteorology in Colorado.
http://www.logicalscience.com/skeptics/Gray.html
And, Dr. Gray admits that there has been global warming:
Gray: ......... I mean we have had global warming. That’s not a question. The globe has warmed the last 30 years, and the last 10 years in particular. And we’ve had, at least the last 10 years, we’ve had a pick up in the Atlantic basin major storms.
http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=4403
Dr. Gray:I'm not disputing that there has been global warming. There was a lot of global warming in the 1930s and ’40s, and then there was a slight global cooling from the middle ’40s to the early ’70s. And there has been warming since the middle ’70s, especially in the last 10 years.....

So, yeah, I will take the word of climatologists that have studied the phenomenon in depth and had peer reviewed work done over a retired meteorologist almost every darn time. Interestingly, one of the articles in which Dr. Gray was interviewed, posted above, is from Capitalist Magazine.

each and every of the perfect lies contain an aspect of truth - there's a valid medical debate to make certain the effect of human interest on climate. yet' an inconvenient truth' is organic propaganda designed to magnify the outcomes and to promote the Globalist "answer" such as carbon tax which will ruin the middle type organization of the western international and to construct up public help for "eugenics" which in this context is the culling of billions of the international inhabitants. This become first promoted by technique of the "club of Rome" contained in the 1968 funded by technique of the Rothschilds and chaired by technique of David Rockefeller which become the starting up of the favourite "environmental" stream. Henry Kissinger promoted the concepts of inhabitants help in 1974, utilizing famines, ailment and warfare. Kissinger to on the present time is a pass-between betwen each and every US President and the Rothschilds and different Luciferians of the secret authorities who're in the back of them. Gore is one of their stooges too. BTW the Rothschilds are also in the back of the CFR .

Just a tidbit about your beloved source from logicalscience.com
I'll give you the website and let you read the rest, including a bit where Dr. Gray makes it clear that he has little to no idea what he is talking about in a peer attended lecture.
" A meeting paper that Gray provided in advance of the 2006 27th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology provides an interesting insight to Gray's current scientific mind. In this paper Gray routinely references water evaporation as the cause of global warming. The problem is that this theory violates the first law of thermodynamics which is better known as conservation of energy. This is a pretty basic law of physics that is commonly taught in highschool and the freshman year of college. The authors at realclimate spent a decent amount of time analyzing the numerous flaws in this paper with their article "Gray and Muddy Thinking about Global Warming". After Gray released this meeting paper the Atlanta tropical meteorology conference withdrew his invitation to attend. So what do fellow climate change skeptics think of him? Well according to the Washington Post: "[Richard] Lindzen says of Gray: "His knowledge of theory is frustratingly poor, but he knows more about hurricanes than anyone in the world. I regard him in his own peculiar way as a national resource.""

You are so blinded by your Gore hatred, that you can't even see the truth the man is speaking. And you will put your hatred of him over and above your and everyone else's safety and the care of planet earth.

Anyone with any legitimate knowledge on this subject, common sense and rational thinking processes understands that the Earth's weather changes all the time, has for millions of years and has little, if anything, to do with humans.
Even if humans have some impact on global temperatures it is very, very small and we do not understand what impact it has.
We only have temperature histories for about the last 150 years, hardly anything to brag about. We also can not predict the weather accurately a week out, or even a day out sometimes, yet alone decades or centuries out. Just a few decades ago some people were talking about global cooling, many of the same people now talking about global warming.
The man-made global warming theory is simply something that people are pushing in order to force people to do things they would not otherwise do on their own, to help enact further government regulation & taxation, and to control people and their behaviors.
Even if there is global warming, there is nothing bad about it and it is a slight increase. Warmer temperatures allow for better & longer crop growing seasons and less people die from warm weather than cold weather. Even if there is global warming there is nothing to say it is a negative except for a few power hunger politicians and their friends in the media.

In the 1970's they were screaming that another ice age was coming. Then it was Y2K. Some folks just need to be worried about something. If man can believe that he has such power as to change nature, why can't we make it rain when we want.
We have only been keeping records of temp and such thing for a little over 100 years. What is that compared to the 40 + million years the earth has had a climate like the one we have today.?
Just politics and money.

Dr. Gray is a nincompoop and a fraud. He has published NO peer-reviewed works on climatology. He is unaware of current or historical climatology papers and theories.
Meteorologists are not climatologists.
""Dr Gray is also known for using a 1975 Newsweek about global cooling to discredit the climatologists. It has been well documented by both Realclimate.org and Dr Connolley that the scientific community never predicted an ice age. While there was talk about ice ages in mainstream magazines and even newspapers, there were no predictions of imminent global cooling in peer review journals or the National Academy of Sciences press releases.""
