some companies are advertising such a scenario to save up to $10,000. I've been told by acquaintances that all the savings get chopped up by the import taxes. Who's right? thanks

Personally, I can't think of any government agency that runs to my satisfaction, other than the Military.

takes cell phone calls from his wife during speeches, to exchange "sweet nothings"? How juvenile, and rude is that? People pay good money to hear him talk. Is this the guy we want in the White House?

Yes, I am doing extremely well these past 8 years. My stock portfolio is through the roof...I have a new home with locked in 5.25% rate....My job is solid....THIS AFTER 9/11, Clinton Dot Com Bust and Afghan and Iraq War, Oil crises, Mortgage crises..and every other crises liberals want to claim......So, why all the crying out there? I can't be the only one doing well....And no, I was never given a dime of help to get where I am today.....

I got to say at first I was against the pullout and then started to think it was a good idea. But now it looks like progress is happening. Both the political Iraq and insurgences.

While Bush said going in this would take a long time I think most of us thought probably three or four years and then setup a base and leave. The experts at the time told us no lasting effects were ever accomplished without occupation of at least 5 years and usually 10 years.

We are spoilt Americans and want Rome built in a day. I now think we are so close, it would incredibly stupid to withdraw now and create a situation that magnitudes more may die in the future if we have to go back in or get attacked from terrorists. Just imagine 9/11 took about as many lives as we lost in the war and it was considered a relatively simple attack. If we could get the Middle East stabilized to monitor terrorists on a daily basis, over there, instead of here, I think we'd be a lot safer.
